This is a YouTube video titled "Manage Duplicate Records" containing a tutorial-style monologue from February 20, 2023, explaining a beta feature that allows users to merge multiple duplicate contacts simultaneously in a contacts management system. The speaker guides viewers through the process and encourages feedback.
Hey friends, when I was showing you how to opt yourself into betas, I opted myself into a beta for something I didn't know what it was is the ability to merge multiple duplicates at the same time. And it's pretty cool. So let me show you this. Here we are on the contacts page of this account and if you go to Actions there's this manage duplicates option and then you're gonna see a list that looks just like this. And what we you. This has been here for a while where you can review these onesie twosie hit review or reject. The model gets smarter as you go. But what the beta has given me is the ability to check multiple of these at the same time and say, yep, these are all good, or check all of them. Yep, we're just going to merge all these at the same time. And then what you can do is you can review them. And what it's going to do instead of you looking at them one at a time is you're going to say I want to in all these cases, keep the one make the one primary that has the most recent engagement or the oldest engagement or was created first or created last or most recently updated or whatever the case may be. You select it, you can get some more information about what you're getting yourself into and and then you can just merge all and then you're done. So this is now in beta and if you have access to the beta management thing beta, then you can log opt yourself into it. Anyway, check it out. Let me know what you think. Let me know if you have any questions.
