Meetings and Forms Automagic Process

This is a YouTube video titled "Meetings and Forms Automagic Process" created in July 2023. It features George B. Thomas and another speaker discussing a tutorial on integrating HubSpot forms and meetings to streamline the booking process on a landing page. The content is instructional, focusing on how to embed meeting widgets and pre-populate form data to improve user experience.
Hey, I have to ask, do you love HubSpot meetings and do you love HubSpot forms? And a side question, do you like peanut butter and chocolate or peanut butter and jelly? They're better when they're put together. And HubSpot forums and HubSpot meetings are automagic when you put them together as well. That's what we're going to talk about today. A streamlined process for you using HubSpot forms and HubSpot meetings.
Hey, you know what time it is?
That's right. It's your boy, George B. Thomas. And in this tutorial we're going to show you a streamlined process where you can get the conversion from your HubSpot form and the streamlined functionality of being able to easily book a meeting and it be on the same exact page. Let's go ahead and get into the good stuff.
So as we're on the page here for helping people with questions, we're going to scroll down. Typically when we get to a form, somebody can fill out a form. It'll either leave a message message on the page or we can direct them to a thank you page. Or if you're trying to actually do a meeting, you might even send them to the default meeting page. So for instance, in meetings, if I were going to use the let's chat, I could actually look at this page right here, just the default meeting page. And I might say when they fill out this form, then go ahead and direct them to this page. There is a way that we can streamline this. And what's even more important is to know if we ask the question in the form that we don't have to get them to resubmit information again when they're actually booking the meeting. So we're going to come over here and we're going to start to do a little bit of magic. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to edit this page because I'm on a HubSpot landing page. What I can do is actually come down to where the form is. I'm going to go ahead and go into where the form information lives and I'm going to go down to the thank you section. Now notice right now what it's saying is display an inline thank you message. Like I said before, we could redirect to a another page, a thank you page or I could even send to that meeting page. In this case, I am going to leave display and inline thank you message. I'm going to get rid of the message though, because I'm not really going to leave a message. What you can do is you can come over to your meetings widget. In this case I'm going to use the hey let's chat and I'm going to go actions and embed and I'm just going to simply copy this code. Now what I can do here is if I come back to the page that I'm editing, I can go advanced, don't get nervous source code and I'm just going to paste that code in and hit save changes. I'm going to go ahead and apply changes here and once I have that in place, I'm going to go ahead and come back over to the meeting. Because what I want to see in the meeting is if I edit this meeting, what are the questions that I'm asking? So again to do that, what we'll do is we'll go to schedule and then we're going to go to form and look at this, we know first name, last name, email and what are we chatting about? Now I'm going to make this not even be a thing in here because what I realize is that I know what we're chatting about because they're going to give me that information in the form. So as long as I have the first name, last name and email address then I'm good to go. Here's the other piece that I want to do though is I want to open up additional settings and notice auto submit form when all fields are pre populated. So in if I know first name, last name, email, then don't show the form again, just let them go ahead and book the time. So I've gone ahead and changed that. If I come back over here and refresh and I scroll down, what I'm going to be able to do is I'm going to see I have first name, last name and email in here and of course I can ask these other pieces of information. But now when I hit get your answer, now what it's going to do is it's just going to load that widget right on the page. I can pick the amount of time that I want, I can pick the day that I want and then notice it just automatically books that meeting. There was no form that showed up and we're off to the races. Now if I go back to the meetings tool by the way, where we can take this to the next level because remember I went to form and I went to.
