By now you know that automation, even at a tiny scale, can help you take some things you do in your small business and make them a little bit lighter. Here are three automations I use all the time here at ProcessDriven. Automation number one involves my ClickUp account where I have a form and automation set up on my issues list. On this form I provide some specific instructions that when I fill in this form it creates a task assigned and dated for my team. This makes delegation a lot easier and allows my team to do the same when they need to get tasks up off of their plate. The second automation I use is actually a text expansion tool called textexpander. What you can do with this is allow yourself to predefine certain keyboard commands and when you type those commands it populates long form text for you. The third automation I use regularly is actually inside our email tool called Missive, where we have a rule set up to automatically route communication to the right people and send up automated responses depending on when someone contacts us.
