Open Book Management Fosters Agency Culture & Growth #agencybreakthroughpocast

We put culture before anything else, and we initiated rituals within our agency that were unusual, to say the least, and sometimes a little scary and risky. So the two in particular that come to mind are open book management, which is way more than sharing numbers and, you know, financial transparency. It is involving the team to make decisions in the business from a revenue and expenses standpoint and literally sharing everything and having them be a part of what the outcome is, that was courageous because we all know as agency owners, like, sometimes the numbers don't look that great. Sometimes we go through tough times, and I was like, almighty, Is everyone going to just, like, run if we have a few bad months and they're like, I'm out of here. And what I learned through that is it's actually completely the opposite. When people understand what the situation is and we're all clear on what the objectives are and where the pain points are. I have found that if you have the right people on the team, they come together to help you to figure out how to solve those things.
