This is a YouTube video titled "Process building - How to communicate to your team about it" containing a monologue or single-speaker talk from January 1, 2024, discussing strategies for effectively communicating organizational changes to a team using various channels and feedback mechanisms.
I think it's a matter of controlling the message. So what is the change that you're going to implement and then making a plan for when you're trying to send out that messaging? Is it more effective in a slack channel? Does it need to be sent via email and a memo? What is the perception within your organization? How do they perceive if things are a serious change versus you know, something that's kind of not as important? Does it need to be spoken at like a quarterly all hands on deck meeting? Is it a new meeting that you have to schedule for the full organization? Depending on the intensive level of how big this change is going to impact your organization, control what channels you use to announce that certainly also involving your team at any level to provide that feedback, whether it be on a weekly cadence during a meeting is going to be really valuable so that they feel heard in order to be on board with whatever you're looking to test, experiment or implement moving forward.
