Save individual tasks as templates in ClickUp's Template Center, then apply multiple templates to one task to stack them. Some fields override existing values while others merge, so check the help docs for specifics on how each field behaves.

Jennifer is wondering how you can stack ClickUp templates on top of each other when there are custom fields or descriptions or attachments that are different. Here you can see I have task 2 with one description and task 1 with a totally different description, and I'm going to save each of them as a template in the template center. To do that, I'm going to go inside the template center and click Save as Template. And when I do this, I want to be sure to include all of the details I'm going to need. I'm going to make sure it's importing everything, including any fields I want to bring over. Then I'm going to click Save. If I wanted to stick stack these templates and have both of these elements happen at the same time, I would create a new task, combine these two templates I saved and delete those. Create a brand new task and I'm going to apply both of the templates I created. These templates are going to stack on top of each other and all of the fields from both of those templates are going to be applied. Be sure to check out the ClickUp help docs for more information, because certain fields in your account will override the existing task and other ones will kind of combine together and that's going to differ from field to field.
