Let me ask you something. When was the last time you felt truly excited about what it is that you're doing? Not just motivated, but alive? Like you couldn't wait to jump out of bed and tackle the day? If you're thinking it's been a while, or maybe I'm not sure I've ever felt that way, then guess what? This video is for you. Hi, I'm George B. Thomas, and today we're kicking off a journey to ignite your passion. Because passion isn't just a buzzword. It's the fuel. It's what turns ordinary tasks into meaningful work and challenges into opportunities of life. And it's one of the four cornerstones of the superhuman framework, alongside love, purpose, and persistence. And if you haven't watched the purpose, persistence, or love videos, make sure you check them out on the rest of the channel. But stick with me here, because by the end of this video, you'll have the tools to reignite your passion. Rediscover what lights you up and start turning that spark into momentum for personal growth. Are you ready to dive in? Then let's giddy up. So what is passion, and why does it matter? Passion isn't just about feeling excited. It's about energy, the kind that keeps you moving forward. Even when things get tough in life. And trust me, they do and will, you probably already know that. It's what makes work feel like play and problems feel like puzzles worth actually taking the time to solve. Passion is one of the key pillars of growth in the superhuman framework because it connects directly to your drive and creativity. When you're passionate about something, you're naturally more curious, more focused, and more willing to push past obstacles. But let's be honest, life has a way of draining our passion. Deadlines, responsibilities, and routines can leave us feeling stuck and uninspired. The good news, Passion isn't something you're born with or without. It's something you can rediscover. And that's exactly what we're going to do here today, right here, right now. So how do you reignite your passion? Well, let's take a couple of minutes and get real practical and tactical. If your passion has been running on fumes, here are three simple steps to reignite that fire. Step number one, reflect on those peak moments of your life. Think back to the times when you felt the most alive. Those moments where time seemed to fly by and you were completely in the zone. What were you doing? Maybe think about, who were you with? Write those things down. Because writing them down, understanding those moments Those moments hold clues to what fuels your passion. To be honest, for me, that usually has to do with when I'm doing something in HubSpot for our clients or working on bringing the Superhuman framework to the world. What about you? Let us know in the comments below. Step number two. Conduct a passion audit. Grab a piece of paper and divide it into two columns. On one side, write down the activities or tasks that energize you. On the other, list the ones that, well, drain the heck out of you. Now ask yourself, how can you do more of what energizes you? And start minimizing what doesn't? You see, passion isn't always about finding something new. It's about making space for what already excites you. Now, moving on to step three. And this is the one that I always love. Take action. Passion grows through action, not through waiting. Pick one thing that energizes you and commit to doing it this week, even if it's just for 15 minutes. Maybe it's writing, brainstorming ideas, or learning something new. Taking that first step is how you build momentum. Okay, now let's get real for a second. I mean, it's important to understand that you need to tie your passion to your purpose. And here's the real secret. Passion isn't just about what excites you. It's about connecting that excitement to your purpose. When you align your passion with a deeper sense of purpose, well, everything starts to shift. Suddenly, your work stops being about checking off tasks and starts feeling like a meaningful contribution to the thing that you're trying to achieve in life. For example, if you love helping people, think about how you can bring that passion into your work. Whether it's mentoring a colleague, volunteering, or leading a project that makes a difference. And this isn't just personal. It's foundational to the Superhuman framework. Passion fuels the fire, and purpose points it in the right direction. Now it's your turn. That's right. I need you to activate yourself. What's one thing you're passionate about? And what's one small step that you can take this week to bring more of that passion into your life? Listen, write it down. Because passion isn't just something we think about. It's something that we act on. And if you're ready to take this even further, stick around. Because in the next Superhuman video, we're diving into how passion fuels teams and transforms the way that we collaborate.
