Sales Required Line Items

A walkthrough of new sales software features that let you require line items and associations when creating deals, plus the ability to clone line items for faster setup.
Are you ready for this, friends? I don't think you're ready for this. Buckle up, here we go. Here I am on the deals page. I'm going to create a new deal and I'm going to hit this little link to edit this form. Here's this form here. We can edit it. This has been a functionality for a long time and there's this new layout with like conditional logic and stuff. But look, when with associations, you can control what associated objects are going to be displayed here, you can control that, that's fine. And they appear and disappear down here. But look, look, look, look, look, look, look. There's this little asterisk button. If you want to make line items required. What? And you can change whether or not companies and contacts are required. If you want associations to be required when a deal is created, you can now do that. So let's save this and let's just see what it looks like if we go back to where I was. No, not that one. So now let's, you know, just refresh this page real quick and we'll create a deal. And look, now I have to have a line item and I have to have contacts and companies. I cannot save this without associating these things here. So. Nice. So I'm going to create this deal here real quick and we're going to go look at it and check out this other cool thing with line items. Look, if I edit this line item. There is now in the line item editor an action for cloning. If you want to clone a line item, you can totally clone a line item. Both of these are now live starter and above, I believe. Check it out. Let me know what you think and let me know if you have any questions.
