Security Logs New UI and Features

A walkthrough of the new security logs interface. See your login history, admin changes, API key management, and email preferences all in one place. The speaker shows how to navigate the updated UI and invites questions.
Okay, friends, let's talk about security logs because they just got a new UI and because there are a lot of things in there that I think maybe a lot of people don't know exist. So check this out. Here I am in my settings and if we go to account defaults, right here we go to the Security tab. You can see View Export, View Export. They used to all be export, but Login history and Security Activity history now have View. So if we click View on Login history, we're going to see a list of times people have logged in, whether they logged in successfully, what their IP address was, location, user agent and time. And you can still export this if you need to export it. But now it's in this nice UI setting and you can filter by different users if you want to see a particular user's activity. Very cool. So if we go back the security activity history, this one is the one where I think you are probably all living below your privileges. So here there's not a whole lot to see, but it's the same sort of ui. If we look at the Knowledge Doc for this, look at all the things that get listed here. Adding, removing, requiring single sign on, importing, acceptance tests, exporting, adding, removing, impersonating users and admin Adding and removing admin permissions Deactivating or reactivating users Viewing, creating or deactivating an API key Turning email tracking and attachment logging settings on and off. Adding and removing email recipients from the Never Log list so you can create a Never Log list. So the emails are sending from Gmail or Outlook don't ever get logged. So like emails I sent to my wife, for example, maybe put her on that list so that she doesn't end up in my CRM performing a GDPR delete, installing integrations. This was actually a feature request that came up in a thread in the Admin Hug LinkedIn group. And it turns out this already exists. It's in here. Sending manual registration emails or password resets, creating a payment account and creating, syncing or deleting sandboxes. So that's a lot of stuff. So if you've ever been curious about these sorts of things happening inside your portal, they are already. This is already being tracked. You just need to go to that security activity history and view it now in a nice UI format. But you can still download it into a spreadsheet if you need that. Anyway, check it out, let me know what you think. Let me know if you have any questions.
