This is a YouTube video titled "Sometimes you're gonna have to adjust a little bit." containing a discussion between two speakers about managing diverse perspectives and collaboration in operational roles, focusing on balancing client needs and internal team dynamics. The content is a dialogue but does not include George B. Thomas as a speaker.
What is your number one tip to succeed in operations of this kind of role?
You have both external and internal voices, personalities. Everyone is a different human. It's getting to hear everything, understand everything, but then take it to make it the best of everything. Everyone's brain is operating differently. You're getting a lot of, well, I do it this way, but I like it better this way. And then you have some clients, they want different things. So taking all of that information and being able to, hey, I understand you, I hear you. And then coming to a compromise and saying, hey, sometimes you're going to have to adjust a little bit. We're all adjusting, but this is what's going to serve both of you together. And it's usually like two teams working together simultaneously. But whether it's creative, our web team, digital team, we're moving that into a place where we can marry everybody's feelings together and then making sure that both our client and our processes are both taken care of.
