This is a YouTube video titled "The must-have elements of successful remote communication." It features a monologue or single speaker discussing the importance of process-driven communication, setting intentions and expectations, and fostering clarity and kindness in remote work environments. The content focuses on remote team culture and effective communication strategies.
It's true. We are process driven and because we're fully remote, you just can't assume people are going to know what's going on. I kind of like break it down by like setting the intention, the expectation and then like communication, collaboration, like streams or like areas and like how you do that. So it's like the intentions, like the why, okay, this is our intention for doing this. A big part of our culture is like our core values really using that to drive that expectations. Like the what, what are we expecting of you? I think also people want to know where they stand and like where they're going. You don't want to kind of like have to like figure it out and guess. To be direct is be clear and to be direct is to be kind. You know, I think if you're process driven then you can be direct in a kind and clear way and really set people up for success.
