Starting today, there is one way to build on HubSpot, whether you're creating a custom integration or building the next great Marketplace app. Hey, I'm Bri, a developer advocate here at HubSpot and I'm so excited to introduce the new HubSpot developer platform. We've streamlined the developer experience with a unified flexible platform AI, native documentation and CLI guided setup workflows to get you from Idea to hello World in minutes with our new HS Get Started command. This unification isn't just about convenience, it it's about unlocking new possibilities for you and your customers. This unified app framework lays the foundation for you to create apps with a more native feel. With enhanced UI extensions, your app can now appear in multiple different places, including a dedicated full page app home that you can completely customize. We've also introduced App Objects. These are custom CRM objects for your unique integration data. When a customer installs your app, they automatically get access to these new objects and you can interact with them just like standard HubSpot objects and paired with app events, these unlock custom data models that work across any customer tier. We're also removing barriers that have limited event data integration. We've increased custom event rate limits by 100 times to 1,250 writes per second and batch size limits by 50 times to 500 completions per call. These improvements expand the possibilities of supporting event data in HubSpot while reducing your engineering overhead. We're introducing the Webhooks Journal API in beta, which sends a lightweight notification allowing you to query the journal for full event details. This reduces payload size, enables better error handling, and gives you a more granular control over events. The HubSpot developer platform is designed for the AI era. You can now build agent tools in beta, allowing your app to integrate directly with Breeze agents. This means you can create tools that let users customize an AI agent with with your app's unique capabilities, no technical expertise required. Plus, when you're working in your IDE, you can now install our HubSpot Developer MCP server directly through the HS Setup MCP CLI command to generate higher quality project code and update existing projects with chat based prompts. Beyond these new capabilities, we've also enhanced the entire development lifecycle, making your process more productive with features like AI powered documentation for quick natural language answers, a better CI CD pipeline and log tracing for easier collaboration Collaboration and debugging an enhanced Sandbox UI with support for custom objects Simplified app distribution management directly within the project UI Configurable environment profiles to isolate settings for different stages of development and external telemetry integration with services like Sentry and Honeycomb ready to build faster and deliver smarter? Here's how you can get started today. First, if you haven't Already install the HubSpot CLI, then simply run HS. Get started in your terminal. Our guided setup will take it from there. The HubSpot developer platform is just the beginning. We're moving at AI speed to bring you more features and need your feedback to prioritize what's next. So what are you waiting for?
