If you feel like you need a daily standup or running a daily standup to keep folks on track in terms of what they accomplished and what's blocking them and what we need to unblock, what's happening next. In my experience, going in and working with teams who have done this, in some cases on site or who are currently doing this, a lot of it is just a massive failure to plan. They're not planning stuff well, or there's a master plan or communication. There is a plan, there is a vision in the owner's eye or in the team lead's eye of like, yeah, this is what's going to happen, or the person who sold the deal. And so little of that gets communicated that it gets kind of peeled back day by day and layer by layer, in those standups, that's where the context actually starts coming out. And so a lot of that can be done much, much better and communicated and articulated way easier. You can use project management tools. You could write this in a document and share a lot of that stuff. There's a lot of different ways to hand that context down and give people clear planning.
