This is a YouTube video titled "What is a CRM?" containing a monologue or presentation explaining the concept and functionality of a Client Relationship Management system, focusing on tracking customer journeys and managing relationships. The content is educational and delivered by a single speaker without dialogue.
CRM or Client Relationship Management System is a way for of tracking relationships to our customers. Looking at this little chart here, this is just a visual reference of what the journey is that we could be capturing. A CRM can track the journey all the way from somebody that exists on the Internet. And then maybe we've got someone who is a potential customer who is potentially interested in say our services or working with us. Then from there we have someone who's currently doing that activity. They're actively in our orbit in our collaboration network. After that we have someone who previously did that but currently isn't. And then we have fans. And regardless of what status we consider them to be in our orbit, CRMs can still help facilitate that journey. All a CRM does is track where someone is in this puzzle. How many do we have in each area? How many are flooding our past customer area? What is our overall flow? And ultimately, if we're using our CRM effectively, the way we use this information will enable this overall flow to be faster.
