This is a YouTube video titled "When to update business processes" containing a monologue or single-speaker discussion recorded in 2025. The speaker explains how business process updates are typically triggered by practical needs such as mistakes, new ideas, or onboarding new personnel, rather than by a fixed calendar schedule. The content focuses on process management and improvement strategies within a business context.
I think this depends on the process. There are certain parts of our business, certain pipelines that are very regularly updated. But the way we prompt ourselves to remember to change a process is because something happened. Usually a mistake has happened or an idea has come in or we learn something new by watching a YouTube video and we're like, ooh, ooh, ooh. We should really do that. I don't have like an annual process of like let's review all of our processes because I'm just following a calendar rather than an actual business need. So I generally speaking follow the business need. Instead of I realize something is wrong or we have a new person being onboarded, let's review our onboarding process. There's a handful of ones where we do use that calendar setting for things that might change because of policies or, you know, governing rules. But for the most part it's based on naturally as you use them. But every team will be a little different there. Debbie.
