Learn to bench press without shoulder pain using activation drills for your serratus and rotator cuff, then dumbbell presses with elbows at 45 degrees from your body. This angle reduces stress on the shoulder joint compared to straight-bar pressing, which demands more mobility most lifters don't have.

What if you could bench press without shoulder pain? In this video, I'm going to show you exactly how to get away with your bench press without ever having shoulder pain. All you gotta do is follow these steps. First, we're going to do a banded no monies and a banded pull apart to activate your serratus, the muscles around your shoulder blades, and your lower traps and your rotator cuff. Warming those up and getting them to activate will stabilize your shoulder blade, which is the foundation for your actual shoulder joint. Next, banded champagnes. Then we're going to go into our dumbbell bench press. You're going to keep a 45-degree angle when you bring the weights out. This will have the less amount of pressure on your humeral head. If you do go with a straight bar, there's more pressure on the rotation of the humeral head. You have to have better mobility. Most people don't have appropriate mobility. Now, when you finish your set, bring the dumbbells back into your sides, slowly lower each side, and you've finished bench pressing without shoulder pain.
