How's it going? Glenn Dawson with Reset U Fitness, and today we're going to fix wrist pain. So I just got a message from one of my clients that said they were dealing with terrible wrist pain. They happen to work at a desk and their wrist is jacked up. So instead of just fixing their wrist, I decided to fix yours too because I'm a giver. What you're going to need is a Voodoo Floss Band. I'm going to put the link to this in the comments. This is my favorite brand. I'm not getting paid by Sirius Steel. It just happens to be the one that I like the most and it's easier to use. And then a weight or hammer. Either will work. That's it. It's going to take a quick, like, 3 steps and we'll get you out of pain. But before we do that, do an initial test. So figure out where your wrist is hurting, what range of motion, and then write down on a scale of 1 to 10 how bad it hurts. If 10 is the worst, it should be like a 5, maybe a 6. If it's a 10, maybe you have a serious injury, but if it's like a 5, 6, 7, we could get it down to like a 2. Follow along. The first movement we're going to do is we're going to Voodoo Band our wrist. The easiest way to do this is just to hold it with your thumb and start wrapping, and you're going to wrap up the forearm. This is a compression band. All it does is take the fluid out of your muscles and tension or tissues. So that they can bring new fluid in. It's kind of like foam rolling every single angle of your wrist and forearm at the same time. Again, if you don't have this, it's okay. You could just massage with your own hand, but obviously that sucks, right? Like massaging with your hand versus using this really cool instrument is not as fun. Once you've got to the end, tuck it in. This is the hardest part because it always tears my arm hairs. Ah, perfect, we got it. Now from here, we're going to grab our dumbbell. If you have a hammer, it's even better. Grab the bottom of the hammer so the weighted end is on top. You're going to squeeze, hold your elbow in, and then rotate nice and slow. I want you to rotate for 90 seconds. As you're doing this, the whole point of this is your body and your arm and your shoulder and everything is basically twisted around to work on a computer, right? We need to work on supination. So twisting it the other way, that'll open up everything in the muscles in your wrist, the bones in your hand, everything. So once you've done this for 90 seconds, then we're going to work on the shoulder. Now, the shoulder If you have an issue in your shoulder, it'll lock up. A lot of tension goes through your wrist. So we're going to move back and forth and just open the shoulder. Now, if you have too much tension here, I recommend a sleeper stretch, but this should be perfectly enough for most people. Notice I'm keeping the band on. There's a lot of tension and we don't really want to take it off because we want to keep it in this flossing mode. Now, once you've done that move for like another 30 seconds, we're going to go into our stretches. You're going to go very light, invert your hands so your fingers are facing you, and you're going to use your hips to rock back nice and easy. Stay within your happy range of motion. Don't apply pressure so that it's in pain. And if you want to go forward, you can too as well. Again, you're using your hips to apply pressure. Now last but not least, take the Voodoo Band off and you're going to repeat, repeat every single step that we just did. So you're going to go back through Do your hammer or weight rotations. Open up the shoulder joint, rotator cuff. Then you're going to go through your stretches. You're going to take a little bit longer time than I am for this video. I'm trying to keep it short for your attention span. And then flip. And last but not least, make sure you retest. So whatever range of motion hurt, say it was a 5 or a 6, it should be down to like a 2 or a 1 now, maybe even a 0. Now if it is, write in the comments, you reset me, and make sure you subscribe. See ya.
