How much water you should drink on a daily basis. I'll be honest with you, I despise drinking water. It's not the funnest thing in the world, but if you want better athletic performance and to have better sleep and to also decrease your chance of injury, you gotta hydrate. Now, the recommended dosage of water that you should take in a day, and you can go over, just try not to go under, is 0.75 times your body weight. So if you were 175, you would take 0.75 times 175, and that would equal around 131 ounces of water you need to take in daily. That's around a little bit above a gallon of water. If you're less than that, you go a little bit less. If you are more than that, obviously you need more. Now I also like to spice things up with my favorite trick. I'm not a big fan of the taste of water all the time, drinking all that water. But if you exercise, if you're always moving and you're sweating, you need to put in even more water than that recommendation. This helps me personally, Element Electrolytes, hold that water and also taste good too at the same time. And it also increases athletic performance. There's a ton of new research done on the power of sodium as a pre-workout and how it can help you throughout your day. This has a ton of sodium in it, so it's gonna taste salty, but I love it. You should try it out in your water if you're not getting enough in.
