You know, I've tried everything. I mean, literally, I've fought my weight since puberty. I have done every diet out there. I've even had a gastric bypass surgery. Man, 40 years of carrying this kind of weight around, you tend to give up after a while. It's like, "Okay, well, I guess I'm just going to be fat the rest of my life." I weighed 365 pounds. That was my starting weight. I was pretty much in a deep depression. As of this morning, I've lost 27 pounds. It's hard, but it's easy. You know, it's— you're not hungry. There are days I have to go, okay, it's time to eat. Oh geez, I'm not hungry. You know, and then the encouragement that this group gives is just phenomenal. I've had times where I've hopped on and said, hey, somebody tell me a joke because I'm in a bad mood, you know, and people do. Nobody's negative and certainly nobody is judgmental, which is really nice. Hopeful. And honestly, that's probably the best thing I could tell you is I feel hopeful because I haven't felt this kind of hope in a long, long time.
