Playing cutting sports like pickleball, tennis, soccer all require a lot of stability in the hip, ankle, and knee. You can get that at home even if you're super busy and you've just had a newborn and you have zero time. This is a reverse lunge. This stabilizes the glute in the front leg and allows you to rotational twist and maintain stability. Next, we're moving on to another stability move for the glute and knee and foot called a hip airplane. If it's too difficult for you to do with a weight, like I'm using my 8.7-pound um, baby, then you can use arms open like an airplane to help balance. Next, we're moving to a side plank to work our IT band and side glute called our glute med. These muscles help stabilize the knee as you're cutting. Super important to get these activated. I would do this before your workout or even at the court itself.
