Mom Resets Sciatic & Back Pain From Home

A mother of three had severe sciatic and back pain 7-8/10 after giving birth. Four months postpartum, she started a home program that dropped her pain to 1/10, helped her lose 30 pounds, and let her run and play with her kids again.

So I had massive, massive sciatic pain. It would shoot up at random times. I'd never know when it was going to happen. So having— I have 3 little boys and I couldn't do anything with them because I was in so much pain. Oh, and my upper back. I had upper back issues as well. I would— it was just after I woke up from sleeping, my upper back would just be so stiff. It would sometimes even hurt to breathe. Deeply. How bad was my pain? Oh yeah, like 8 sometimes, 7, 8. And that was consistently, you know, even though I just had a kid, I was sick of feeling that way while I was trying to take care of my kids. Just was not being the mom I should have been being because it's sad. It's sad. We don't have to do this. You know, we don't have to go through this stuff. As moms, we just keep trucking through and acting like it's normal and it's it shouldn't be. When I listened to you finally fully and dropped like 6 pounds in a week and I felt amazing, my workouts were awesome, and I went for a run, I was able to go for a run. I think I just felt more free. I guess it was more freeing to me that I— because I love being active, I love doing this stuff, and I just wasn't able to do it. So I think just it just released this freedom that I actually will be able to do this again. I just reiterated to my kids when I was leaving that I was doing this for them too. Like, I'll be, I'll come back happier. Mommy's got to do this. I don't know, like I race my kids around the yard, you know, I can race them around the yard because they want to run all the time and they need to run. Weight-wise, I've dropped 30 pounds, but pain-wise, I have lost my pain unless I do something I'm not supposed to, like not stretch. My pain is probably at a 1 now. I can function with my kids. Don't wait. I mean, I was only 4 months out, you know, 4 months postpartum. And I was like, well, maybe I could just wait till I'm done nursing. Well, that's another, what, 8 months at least? So I would just say don't wait because I didn't have any problems with my milk. I didn't have any problems. With any of it. Honestly, it helped clear my mind. It helped me be a better mom. No doubt. Don't wait. Just do it now.
