The Neck Hammock hangs from a door and gently pulls your head backward to relieve tech neck. Use it for two to four minutes with a specific breathing pattern: inhale three seconds, hold three, exhale eight. The presenter says it produces results comparable to physical therapy and releases nervous system tension.

I want to tell you about one of my favorite products for tech neck. It does a slight distraction to the neck joints themselves. I've tested it out with myself and a bunch of other clients, and I love it. It is called the Neck Hammock. So this neck hammock is super simple. All you do is you toss it around your door like so. Once your door is safely secured and it's measured properly, make sure that the ear pads are positioned perfectly on your ears and it's facing so that this little slope is sloped down. Next, you're going to roll your head into the neck hammock. Keep everything straight in alignment. Come off the wall slightly so that it has a backwards and upwards pull. And then I like to do breathwork here, so I like to inhale for 3, hold for 3, exhale for 8 through my belly, and release my nervous system. If I hold this for 2 to 4 minutes, I will notice a change in my neck. Like I just saw a physical therapist in person. This is awesome. We do a lot of online coaching here at Reset U Fitness, and one of the things we can't get without a product like this is neck distraction, or just releasing those neck joints. You can foam roll, you can stretch, but until you can just release your nervous system and let your joints naturally open up on their own, it's really, really difficult. So I love this product, neck hammock. They're not paying me for this, I'm just supporting a good company.
