I just gradually gained weight a little bit at a time. It wasn't a lot, but just a little bit. And then menopause hit. It seemed like 10 pounds just piled on. I had 2 C-sections, so I have a little pooch, and I think a lot of women have that after a C-section. So your scar sits there and you just get fat that just sits in your pooch. I had a family member tell me, "You know what, Jean, it's going to happen. You just have to embrace it." I'm like, "Hell no, I'm not going to embrace—" Embrace Overweight. What attracted me to the program is an ad on Facebook that talked about hormones in particular. And I'm like, this is me. I need to see what this is all about. Better. I feel great. I have, I've had chronic back issues since I was pregnant with my second daughter, where I went to a chiropractor. It helped, but it didn't get rid of the flare-ups. I haven't had a flare-up since I've started the program. You know, lose close to 30 pounds. Lose the body fat, feel good about myself. It's just a great feeling.
