Turtle shell posture giving you neck pain and shoulder pain? Here's 3 simple moves you can do to straighten it out. The first one is a front rack lat stretch. Make sure you pad your elbows when you do this. Don't be an idiot like me. It hurts, and if it hurts, it's not going to give a good stretch. Pull your hips away from the elbows, creating a good stretch to the upper spine and the lats right next to your armpits. Next one is a quadruped thoracic rotation. That sounds like a dinosaur, but really what it means is you're on all fours and you're twisting and rotating to get your shoulder blades and your chest to open up. This is a great one to also relieve tension on the neck. Next one, foam roll angel or snow angel on a foam roll. Do 10 slow reps and let gravity open your chest, and that foam roll will beat up your rhomboids and release tension in your back. Don't forget to follow.
