In this video, 39‑year‑old functional trainer and Reset U Fitness founder Glenn Dawson shares his personal experience using the GLP‑1 peptide redatrutide (referred to as “Reda”) over the holiday period. Starting at 9 % body fat, he administered a low 1 mg dose and reported a rapid drop to about 3 % body fat while maintaining his lifting performance. He attributes the weight loss to appetite suppression and reduced calorie intake, noting that he had to supplement with protein shakes to meet his caloric needs. Negative side effects included an inability to eat freely, greasy‑sticky stools, and a warning that without proper nutrition and resistance training, GLP‑1 use can lead to muscle loss and metabolic slowdown. Dawson cautions viewers that redatrutide is not FDA‑regulated, advises thorough research and sourcing from reputable peptide suppliers such as Senexa Labs, and emphasizes that successful use requires continued proper diet and weight‑training. The video blends personal results, practical advice, and safety warnings for anyone considering GLP‑1 therapies.

I'm a 39-year-old functional trainer. I took reditrotide over the holidays, and here's my results and the side effects. My name is Glenn Dawson. I'm the founder of Reset U Fitness, where we focus on resetting you from hormonal damage and muscular imbalances that cause pain as you age. That's why this was so important to me. If there's a breakthrough in the industry, I got to know about it. Now, when I started the process, I was already 9% body fat, so I'd only use the smallest dose, 1 milligram. Even with that 1 milligram, I got leaner. I got sick twice during the holidays. Thanks, kids. Didn't do as much cardio, and usually when you cut back on cardio, your metabolism slows and you gain body fat. I dropped body fat doing less cardio. I didn't see any effects negatively on my lifts, and I got lean. Everyone knows you have to eat less calories than you burn to lose weight, and it's almost guaranteed if you're taking a GLP-1 that you will lose weight initially because you're going to eat less. And on Red Dead Truth Diet, one of my favorite meals I found myself not wanting to finish it. Now this is funny for me 'cause I've always found if I wanna drop body fat, I've been an easy gainer, hard loser. Most of my family is in the obese range if you calculate their body fat percentage. It's easy for me to gain weight. It's hard for me to lose it 'cause I always overeat. I either increase cardio or I have to dial in my macros and track and make sure I eat less 'cause I want to always overeat. Now I didn't wanna overeat. On top of that, because hormonal health is a heavy, heavy, heavy emphasis at ResetU, I eat mostly paleo. Not even bread. I barely ever eat bread. On Reda, during this time where I dropped to 3% body fat, I was eating bread. I was eating all kinds of other foods because the holidays. So I was indulging and again, didn't lose strength. Now, negative side effects. There were some negative side effects. One, I didn't actually like the fact that I couldn't eat all I wanted. That was weird. It was like changing the solution. No matter what, you're going to lose weight. But this time I had to preserve muscle. So I found myself making protein shakes just to keep in enough calories. The only other negative side effect was because of the gut partitioning, because you're getting away with cheap meals, it's going to come out the back end. So I had sticky poops that were greasy and sticky, not normal poops. So should you take renatricide? Well, I can't, I can't recommend it legally to anybody. I know if I was going to get it, I would do a lot of research and go to Senexa Labs because that is who I get my peptides from because they're a trusted source. And this is the Wild West, it's not FDA regulated. Also, if you're going to take a GLP-1, just know you have to still eat right and you still have to lift weights because the number one negative side effect is you will lose muscle. You're going to lose weight, but if you're not tracking, if you're not eating the right foods, you will lose muscle and slow down your metabolism and have negative side effects. So there's really no getting around eating right and lifting. It can help you, but you still have to eat right and lift.
