In this motivational video, speaker Glenn Dawson promotes a daily 20‑minute morning cardiovascular exercise as a "secret" method to boost intelligence, memory, energy, focus, and to reduce anxiety and depression. He cites a study from the book Spark about middle‑school students in Naperville, Illinois who, after replacing study hall with a 20‑minute morning workout, jumped from low international rankings to top positions in math and science. Dawson explains the physiological basis—elevated heart rate increases BDNF, enhancing synaptic growth and short‑term memory by up to 24%—and argues that high‑performing professionals, who earn money from their intellect, have no excuse to skip this routine. He concludes with a call to action, offering a "reset protocol" link to guide viewers through the first step of implementing the exercise.

Hey, are you a person that prides yourself on your superior intelligence? What if I told you a 20-minute exercise done in the morning can increase your intelligence, eliminate depression and anxiety, and increase energy levels and focus? Would you do it? Well, before I reveal this to you and show you how to do it every single morning to make someone who's already intelligent and, you know, high performer like yourself more productive and more intelligent, let me tell you a quick story. About how a school in Naperville, Illinois used this 20-minute exercise to increase the grades of their students, and they did it all while eliminating study hall. So in the book Spark, which you can see above my head, there was a study where they cited middle school students from Naperville, Illinois, and what they found was that in one year These students were testing below average in the world in this international test in math and science. They were 18th and 11th in the world in math and science. And then within that year, to improve scores, they eliminated study hall and they added this 20-minute exercise in the morning before their hard classes. What they found when they retested was those same exact students tested at 6th and 1st in the world in math and science. Now, how is this possible? So not only did these kids become extremely smart, but they also lowered anxiety, lower depression, and even increased memory. Now, so what is this mystery exercise that they were doing for 20 minutes every single day? That's what we're about to get into. That way you can do it 20 minutes every single day, no-brainer, and become more productive, have higher energy levels, and increase your memory. So what was the exercise that had these kids becoming so smart? Well, it was literally just that exercise. That was it. All these studies that I've been talking about were just based off getting your heart rate up first thing in the morning for 20 minutes. But one of the things I've noticed working with thousands of high performers is they think that there's no time to actually exercise. They think they don't have time in the day that they could possibly go exercise. Well, If you're one of those people that is intelligent and you make money off of your intelligence and pride yourself in it, and your business relies upon your intelligence and you don't punch a time clock, meaning you're not like one of those people that gets paid hourly, right? If you get paid by how productive you can be, how efficient you can be, and how creative you can be, then you literally cannot not have time to exercise 20 minutes in the morning. Otherwise, you're going out into the world with a dumber, more anxious, more depressed, harder at memorization version of yourself than before, when literally all you have to do is 20 minutes of exercise every single morning and you can increase short-term memory recall 24%. You can literally increase synapses of BDNF, brain drive neurotrophic function. Much like Miracle-Gro for the brain and get all your neurons to fire much quicker and faster. You can learn more much quicker and have a dramatic effect on your mood because it lowers anxiety and depression. Literally exercise side by side with Zoloft has the same amount of those chemical knobs and levers that get pulled that make you less depressed. So if you want to be a high performer, if you want to be smarter, You have no excuse but to exercise.
