Foam rollers press one tissue plane at a time, while Voodoo Floss Bands wrap around limbs to squeeze muscles from all angles. The band works best on arms and legs like calves, quads, and hamstrings, and pairing it with dynamic stretching speeds recovery more than either tool alone.

I wanna show you why you would use this instead of this. So this is a Voodoo Floss Band. This is a foam roller. The foam roller is awesome at putting pressure on tissues and helping regulate your CNS when you have DOMS. That's a lot of different acronyms. So basically what it does is it takes layers of fascia that you have in your muscles and presses them down and makes it so you're not sore and it gets new fluid, new blood flow into that area so that you can feel better. This also does the same thing. But let's imagine I have knee pain and I want to release this sore quad. Well, the foam roller is only going to hit one area of the knee. The Voodoo Band goes around the entire thing and creates pressure from the protagonist muscle and the antagonist muscle, or from one side to the other, the entire thing, and does the exact same flossing that the foam roller would do. But 360 degrees. Then you add in some dynamic stretching and mobility work and you get a crazy, crazy change. The only problem with the Voodoo Band is it only works on your arms and your legs for obvious reasons. The Voodoo Band is awesome for work on your calf and Achilles, quad, hamstrings and groin, forearm and wrist, or even your bicep or tricep.
