Qommunity+ [MLH Pridehacks, 2nd Overall]

Hi our project is Community Plus. Our goal is to connect the LGBTQIA2S community. This was important to us because more than one in three LGBTQ Americans face discrimination. Discrimination adversely affects the mental and economic well being of many LGBTQ Americans. Our goals for Community plus are thus to create safe spaces for discussion, connect users together, and enable users to access resources. Our potential partners include the government, companies, educational institutions, and youth organizations. We could work closely with councils, grassroots organizations, streamline communications, volunteer service, learning programs, youth employment programs, vulnerable youth assistants, and youth ambassador networks to promote the site and build the community. Our distribution channels would include B2B and B2C with marketing through public relations, digital advertising and social media. And our funding streams could include private grants from companies, advertisements and licensing software.

This is a quick overview of the UI prototype. So this would be what the landing page would look like introducing individuals to the community. Once they select their community, they would be entering a room onto our actual hack. So once you go to the signup page and you create your sign up, you can then log in with your credentials. Once your credentials are verified, you'll be able to choose a community to join. So this is a demo and once.

You can see your members of the community, let's play a song. When they press the center button they can hear Was Born this Way and you can also share an invite to anybody to join this call through email and in this clip I'll show you.

A brief of the email. Thank you for listening.
