Greg 9 12 15

Three speakers celebrate Greg's life in a spoken-word tribute set to "Traveling Man." They remember his constant road trips, his two tech-savvy sons, his love of fast cars, and how he'd take friends to Las Vegas, the Smoky Mountains, and across Virginia and the Delmarva Peninsula. A portrait of someone who worked hard, stayed generous, and never stopped moving.

Okay, today we're doing a movie for Greg. Last week on September 1st, you shared a bunch of memories of Greg and we turned it into a song to the tune of Traveling Man. This is Traveling Man for Greg.
Yep.
He's a traveling man and he's always on the go. All over the world. He's my oldest child, they don't get much better. He's really been a blessing. All around. I've traveled with him sometimes, it was really great. At conventions in Vegas. As a kid he was smart, very intelligent, he could do anything. If he finds something he knows I'd really love, he gets it for me. He started working for us right after high school, then he really took Good.
Really good.
Yeah, he has two sons too.
Yeah.
Yeah, really great. They're both in some kind of technology thing.
Are they?
They really, really like it. And he's got great cars, like you wouldn't believe. Yeah, it's cool. It's just nice with 8 kids, whatever, and they're all like this. They're all just— they can do anything, whatever, you know, like Matt now. Joe has a buddy. They both great schools at the same time, whatever. And then eventually, and then he, Jeff, would always come to our house, whatever, and we always kid about it. That's why, well, we got another good kid here, whatever, you know. It was really great. And, and Matt is just It's just Matt. What'd you see on his sheets? Whatever.
Right, we did Matt last time.
Yeah, he was always onery when he was little, but boy, he was so much fun.
Yeah, and today we did Greg.
Yeah.
All right, the traveling man.
Yeah, he was always going somewhere. Of course, I benefited from that too. A lot of times he took me along, whatever. So it was pretty cool. And once in a while when I would do them, like when I came back from the Smokies, whatever, then I had a call from, oh, I can't think of the dang area now. It was an area up in close to Chicago. Well, not Chicago, whatever. But anyway, it was a little bit like the Smoky Mountains. It was a smaller town and I can't remember what it was now, but so many rocks this way, this way, this way, this way, this way, this way, whatever. It was really a lot of fun, but it was also really, really almost dangerous. But it was a lot of fun though. I loved it. It was really great. So I did a lot of traveling too.
Nice.
Because I had the state of Virginia was my territory, Washington, D.C. was my territory, and Delmarva Peninsula, whatever. So man, I always had excitement. Excitement, huh? It was always great.
Traveling and stuff.
I could do anything I wanted. It was really great.
