YouTube short by Guillaume Black advising investors to avoid quitting too early. Key claims: many investors lack clear goals (income replacement, growth, wealth building) and switch strategies too quickly; commit to a single goal/strategy for several months (examples given: 6–12 months). Persistence and volume matter — track weekly counts of viewings, offers, and follow-ups to build momentum and assess what works.
Chapters
Most investors are killing their deal flow without realizing it because they are not clear on their goals. They don't know if they are here to replace their income, grow their pot, build their wealth. You can do anything, but you can't do everything. So pick one, commit to it for the next 6, 8, 9, 12 months and then you do a lot better. Next thing is they don't leave themselves long enough for anything to work. So I had a guy the other day tell me I can't work with agents and I asked him, okay, how many offers have you made with agents since the start of the year? He's like, oh, I've made three offers in the last three weeks and it doesn't work. You need to do a lot more to know if something works or doesn't. And then when it gets hard, people don't like, like to power through things. They'll jump from one strategy to another, just get distracted. And all of this is killing their momentum from the get go from its start. So if you want to do well in property, all that matters is how many viewings are you doing, how many offers are you doing and how many follow ups have you done this week. So if you track these numbers, you'll do a lot better than most people out there.
