This is a YouTube video titled "Demo by David Merrill of Sifteo" featuring a demonstration by David Merrill of Siftables, an interactive product by Sifteo, recorded on November 3, 2009. The demo involves a conversation between David Merrill and another speaker, showcasing the capabilities of Siftables, which are small interactive computers designed for physical interaction.
So I'm sitting here at pdma. This is David Merrow of Siftables, and he's going to give me a demo of his new product, Siftables. So take it away.
So here we go. These are Siftables. Each one's a little interactive self contained computer that is meant to be handled physically rather than being an object on screen that you interact with the mouse cursor. So what you can do with Siftables is move them around and put them into configurations and they recognize how they're being arranged, how they're being moved. And they can do things like compute math equations, they can do things like spell words. So if you like Scrabble or crosswords, this is an interactive version of Scrabble or Boggle, where if I see. If I have any.
There we go.
At least I have one. So basically, they're recognizing each other. And then when I put them into a sequence, they recognize what the sequence is and they can give me feedback about whether I've spelled a word and show me that I have whenever I did.
Let's see.
I don't think I have that sort of word. Here we go. I must have got some bells here. It's random, except it makes sure you have at least one bell every time. There we go.
All right. And this is Siftables.
And it'll be out next year, hopefully next year sometime. Yeah, we're working as hard as we can.
And I take it Your website is siftables.com siftables.
