A short YouTube unboxing video (Guy Kawasaki, with Noemi and Giselle) of an iRobot Roomba 980. The participants unwrap the gift, read a card from iRobot, show the robot and accessories (manual, charging dock, AA batteries, cable), and briefly describe its vacuuming behavior.

Hi, this is Guy Kawasaki. And this is Noemi on the left and Giselle on the right. And we're gonna do an unboxing of an iRobot Roomba 980. So take it away, girls.
Okay, so it's wrapped. Apparently, it's a gift. And gifts are always supposed to be wrapped. But not necessarily. But first, we will be reading the cards, so.
Okay.
Okay, Guy, we can't wait to hear how you feel about your Roomba 980. We know it will be a great addition to your home and your new kitchen floors. Enjoy and Happy holidays from iRobot.
Okay, open it up. That's a knife.
Don't need a knife. Apparently, you don't scare me. Over here.
Two hours later. Good job.
Whoa. There's a camera.
Okay.
So as you can see, this is the robot. And.
Somebody wants to know what we were gonna name it.
Oh, my God. I actually do remember. Okay, so we had one of these a really long time ago, but it wasn't from iRobot. And I named it Wall E or something like that.
From the movie.
From the movie Wall Ecause he was a robot and he picked up a lot of trash. So we'll still call him Wall E in a second. Okay, so, yeah, so this is the robot. And what comes in the boxes? There's a manual. This is something. The charger. Charger. The charger.
I think you put that on the floor, and the iRobot knows where it is and comes to it every night.
Okay. And then you say there's, like, a lot of little. And then. Oh, yeah, that. So you can do that. So, yeah, it's a charger. And then there are batteries. Like, two double. They're four double a batteries. With. With.
Who's yelling? I don't know.
Oh, a cable. Oh, it's a spray thing. It, like, has. This is it what? It's a picture.
Oh. So, you know, people are asking what an iRobot Roomba does. So go ahead, you explain.
You can just keep saying everyone. So an iRobot. What it is, is from our last previous experience in a robot. Like, this is. You press clean. And this is a little bit different, but with our old one. What? From, like, my memories, what happens is you, like, put it on the ground and it, like, kind of vacuums everything, but it knows not to, like, go into the wall. It, like, knows where the wall is or knows where chairs are and. Yeah.
Okay, so basically, it means that I don't have to sweep the floor at.
Night, which means we're lazy.
Right. Not that you've ever swept the floor.
I've swept the floor many times and, you know, I had to swipe the floor.
Okay.
So can't wait.
This one. What else is there?
It's not coming off. I don't think it comes off. I think it's just padding. Just patting, patting. Okay.
Okay. So basically we take that thing there and we plug that in the wall. And then we take the irobot and it charges at night. And I guess we tell it what time to clean. So when we're asleep, a little elf will come out and it'll clean the floor. Wake up in the morning, it'll be clean. Right. That's the whole deal.
