Wolfram Data Science Boot Camp alumni discuss how the program taught them the Wolfram Language and helped them apply data science to real work. They praise the mentorship and instructor consultations for turning complex topics into practical skills they use with their own datasets.
Mathematics is powerful software, powerful application. And Wolfram language also has expandable ability.
Data science is such a broad topic, and coming to the boot camp, I think it would help me generalize all the complex topics that data science covers.
The mentors and instructors have helped me a lot. They take all my obvious questions and lead me into a place where I can ask more in depth questions. And then out of those questions I can get the answers that could help me further my experience.
Kind of consulting with, you know, the more specialized instructors after their lecture on how I can apply what they've been talking about not only to the data set that I brought with me from work, but also to future things that I might work on at work has been really very helpful.
You will learn new things, aspects of the system that are particular for your need, but you will also discover new areas or strategies that you had never considered and find it applicable for what your future needs might be.
Just come here, you know, with that beginner's mind, to really appreciate that. I think if you do that, you'll see, you'll see the Wolfram language for what it is. This, you know, really special technical computing ecosystem.
