Wolfram Student Podcast S2 Ep 5: Tier List of the Wolfram Function Repository (Special Episode)

Sam and Rashank rank Wolfram Function Repository functions by coolness. DaylightQ and DeepFryImage hit S-tier, while ProvablePrimeQ bombs on negative one. RandomEnglishHaiku gets praised as near-transcendent.
Chapters
Hello, everyone, and welcome to season two, episode five of the Wolfram Student Podcast. It's our yearly time for our classic tier list episode Today in honor of.
World Past Today, or, you know, Halloween 2.
I think the past today is a bit more important, which is why that's what we're going to be celebrating.
Okay, agree to disagree, but just up front, as you can see, we put Daylight Q above the S tier, which is where it deserves to be, and it shall retain its special place of honor there. And obviously, while none of the other functions will be able to match up to the supreme power of Daylight Q, we'll still go ahead and rank them and, you know, judge them based on their functionality, the scope of their applications, and just how fun they are. So, yeah, I think.
I think the fact that we have to rank them by how fun they are is the most important thing here. So we're going to say and coolness, just so, like, we can emphasize that the coolness factor here is really, honestly the only thing I am going to be ranking these functions.
It is. It is key. Yeah.
Rishon here is, like, more responsible. He's like, oh, we gotta see how useful they are. But, like, who cares when you can make amazing things like Daylight Q. Yeah.
Or amazing things like Deep Fry Image, which is what we're gonna be looking at first.
Oh, okay. I was thinking we'd go to linear order, get it linearly independent. Anyway. Yeah, let's just go deepfront image. So the story behind Deep Fry Image is actually really crucial part, I think, of deciding where to rank it.
So we get into the lower. The.
Yes.
Mythology behind.
Yes. Deep Frame it just like a deep lore mythology behind it. So we were at the Wolfram Summer Research program, the most recent one for 2023, and me and the other TAs were all just casually being bored, wasting time, as we always do. And we decided the most important thing we need to learn how to do is to be able to create a meme generator, which is essentially what defry Image is. We take this. Oh, I already forgot how to call up resource functions. Is it function repository?
I do. I believe you could go to the function repository and copy the call from there. Yeah, that is what documentation is for, after all.
Function repository for.
The prime image.
Okay. No, it's just resource function. And we have this beautiful function just going to transform the way you see even reality. It just takes some time for it to, like, achieve maximum power.
Yeah. Or maximum horror. Because to be fair, the image of that girl, Deep fright is low key. Scary.
True.
Yeah. I mean, all in the spirit of Halloween, I guess.
It passed the day. We should actually deep fry an image of pasta, I think.
Okay, let's do that. If we can get the deep fry image to run.
This is a nice photo of pasta.
Yeah, I had too much pasta. So since.
Since I came here, California is all about pasta. That's actually our state something.
Yeah, state dish, whatever. Yeah, state dish. And the Stanford dining halls love pasta. They have their past every day. I mean, among other things. Among many other things. But, like.
But you just see the pasta and you run straight for it.
No, no, Sam, I eat a balanced and nourishing diet, which is. I deep fried.
I think especially in terms of, like, in honor of World Pasta Day, you kind of have to. Okay, look, it took a while, but we have it. See?
Yeah.
Like, look at that. It's gorgeous. In honor of, like, world past today.
Yeah.
This one weighs so much faster. Like, look at that. Is that not literally glory itself?
It's looks delicious. Deep fried pasta.
See what I mean? Like, you cannot deny the incredibleness of this. So anyway, now that the most. The important thing of actually ranking it, I'm going to say it's instant S. Just like the lore.
Like. Yeah, the lore just pushes up. Pushes up from A to S. You.
Were gonna put this beauty in a rank.
I mean, horrible. Now with all this lore behind it, I see Stephen Wolfram's dollars are being well spent on creating important functions for the future of humanity.
That's true. This is sweet. It has an important message across the world.
Yeah. Do you want to do Wolfie say next?
But that's, like, too linear, you know? It's, like, right under it. I think we got to go modular tessellation.
Okay, let's do modular tessellation. And again, they're all from the Woltroom function repository, which you can.
Oh, yes, we should mention that so.
You wouldn't find it in here. Yeah.
Can I find their function repository tessellation? What is this function going to do?
Are you just going to show them the output by scrolling down?
No, I think this is the most important part of it. I don't know what this means. I'm going to be honest, Rashank, you're in college now, right? Why don't you translate this to normal English for the rest of us poor peasant people?
Sure. I mean, I'm in my first semester of college.
Essentially, you're graduating or first quarter.
Essentially, I'm graduating with a math major, like, tomorrow.
Right, Exactly.
Yeah. I mean, testimonition is just repeated tiling of a plane. So I wonder.
We're just using shapes to tile.
Yeah. To tie, like an infinite plane. And then we're gonna. Yeah.
We'll use this example, which apparently is going to plot the first few iterations of applying the generators of the modular group with alternating black and white colors.
Let me tell you what that means.
No.
If you want to.
Well, Rashank knows because he's, like, graduating tomorrow.
Yeah. With a math major.
Oh.
Oh, that's beautiful.
Actually, that looks really cool.
Yeah. I'll have to look more into this once I do.
Look at all this. This is glorious. This reminds me of, like, a circus surface. A circus. Circus.
Circus. Okay. It's like anything could be a surface, but no, that makes sense.
It reminds me of a surface and a circus at the same time. Look at all this. Neat examples. I wonder what fault. Look at this.
Oh.
Never mind. Oh, there was code above it that I had to.
Moment. Yeah.
No, you ought to hold it until it generates. Never mind. It's like judging whether or not your TADA was good enough. It'll pop up eventually. But please, as we continuously. Drum roll for this. How are we going to rank it?
Good question. I think that's a solid. A beautiful, possibly useful, depending on what area of math research you're doing.
True. Useful and kind of cool, but not as fantastically transcendent as deep fry image.
Agreed. And also, it doesn't. It takes a while to.
To load. Maybe that's just because we're chugging a huge bunch of stuff at it. Okay.
Next lifetime.
I feel it's kind of pointed. Lifetime chart. We gonna see today from lifetime chart. Visualize a lifetime in weeks or months. Let's visualize Rashank's lifetime specifically.
Because no specific reason. I'm just. College has made me acutely aware of my mortality as I speed past other speeding cyclists every day, fearing for my life. So. Yeah.
And actually, Rashank, look at this. You are.
I'm not 36 months old, Sam. You. You've changed.
You know, you might be.
That would definitively make me the youngest person at Stanford.
You. You could be, though. You could, like, take that honor. Okay, how about we one year or wait. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
So.
Oh, because that's 36 months. Okay. I can't count.
So if you're. If I like, I'm. So if you're 15 years old, you're already, like, 1/5 of the way down this chart, right? You're 1:6. I mean, depends on how long you live?
I guess my couple friend instantly assumes we're all Gonna Live to 90.
Yeah. I mean, once I. If I get a. An American passport, I'm instantly going to live seven years longer because that's how life expectancy works.
Ah, yes, that's true.
Yeah. I don't know the exact number. I don't know if it's seven or. What's the difference between Indian American life expectancy? No, that. That's how it works. They. They just give you, like, a. A deed with, like, seven extra years of life on it that you can show the Grim Reaper and be like.
You know, what happens if I change this to granularity Gear?
Interesting. Again, may I remind. I don't know what that did 36 months out, but I think you.
You're just working up to it, you know? Okay, so let's see. Like, using this to how it's just.
Put an age in there. You can also put a single parameter.
How old are you, Rashank?
17.
It doesn't like that age.
Interesting.
It disapproves.
Are you. How old are you, Sam? Are you also 17?
Yeah, it's fine.
Wait, you're under 17.
You're 17 and 11.
10.
Two days, two weeks. You're 17 and two weeks.
I'm 17.
I don't know how. I don't know how Wolfram has decided that, but that is now your age.
Fine. Yes, it's fine. I don't have to pay taxes for another year.
You'll never grow out of this either. Like, whenever anyone asks you for the rest of your life how old you are, you have to say 17 in two months.
Perfect. So no taxes. No. Yeah, perfect. I mean, you do have to pay taxes if you're under that. But, like, you don't have to fight on yourself.
Okay, how are we going to rank this? What are.
I don't know. I mean, I give it maybe a C, to be honest. What do you think?
That's kind of low. I'd actually give it a D. D. Okay.
Yeah, I would agree. It's. I guess it could be useful in some cases if you're trying to, you.
Know, maybe like, Rushank's exact lifetime, but sure, beyond that.
Remind old, vulnerable people of their impending death.
Maybe you could, like, hang it up in senior homes.
Right.
Just have it tick closer.
Yeah. Maybe make a clock to go along with it. Like, every. Every second is like someone of your age is dying. Your time is coming.
That's. You see, that's a great use for it. I'm going to move it up to C, actually, I think.
Okay.
C for chart.
Yeah. Makes so much sense.
Yeah.
Okay, what do you want?
Provable prime. Q.
Okay, that's interesting. That's another mathematical function. And with all the experience Sam has with Math Olympiads, I'm going to defer judgment on this to her.
Wow. Certify a number is provably prime. Wait, that sounds fantastic. Oh, my God. Pick a number. Shank.
1123.
Is this number provably prime?
We'll find out, Sam. Is it at first?
Have some hold music, dude. It is.
Ooh. Let's go. I stuck with a prime number out of here.
What defines something to be provable prime? Like, how do you know it's provable?
Good question. It has generated a certificate. So is it like a certificate?
I don't see a certificate.
Maybe it's like one of those participation certificates they hand out to millennials. Like, you know, if you are a prime, just get. Just get a free certificate along with it. But yeah, we should look.
I mean, I'm going to get one for negative one. Wow. Well, I think this should instantly demote it down to F because it's not giving me anything for negative one.
Yeah, I mean, I feel like the error handling could be better.
True. Right. Like, when I make resource functions, I have some kind of error handling.
Right. Or like a catch all, like exception.
Yeah, yeah. This is. I disprove the fact that it cannot tell me whether negative one is provably prime. Instant F. I would put it.
I would give it maybe like a C.
Is that F? I heard even lower than an F. Good choice, Rashank. We'll put it down there.
Okay. Again, I did say I would defer judgment to Sam, so I guess I have to stand by that.
Exactly. See, we're going to put it down here below F in a realm of its own because it has failed.
Yep. Like one of the ghosts of the tier list world. It shall haunt you as viewers and us as an items.
How would they like daylight? Q just rain up there and then Provable prime. Q. I like how lurks in the shadows.
I like the effect.
Yeah, it's just staring at us with its eyes. Okay, moving on. We have, I don't know, Rishon. You can pick.
Play wordle.
Fitting. Fitting.
Which is something I've not done for a long time.
There's actually this new version of Wordle, or I guess it's not new at all, but it's called Nerdle and essentially it's just wordle. Except you're doing it all with numbers instead. So it's like you have to do a math equation. It's a ton of fun. I'm just very lazy and keep forgetting to actually do it.
Okay. I wish. I feel like you might have to look up its documentation. Documentation, Sam, Documentation.
Once for just for once, I want these resource functions to. Oh, I keep forgetting the ending.
You do have to pass in the empty argument, I guess. Or like no argument. Wow. Is it going to play wordle for us or is it just going to.
Whoa.
Oh, okay, let's play wordle.
Okay. Okay. I don't know what word to start wordle on Ghost. Ghost series.
I don't start. But no, no, it's Halloween. You cannot start past the ghost cast.
I like. I like. Yeah, yeah, the air handling.
You gotta do ghost.
Fine.
Yes. Go see that? That works too.
Everyone attack Rashank in the comments. You know that S t. You know where LTV would have found it? In pafa. And it might have even been in the right spots in pasta.
Let's do pasta next. Everyone attack Sam in the comments.
Now we're gonna do stare.
Stare. Okay, that's valid.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
Tree T. R. A something. S. Trams.
Okay. And then R should be there.
Right. So T Something Ars. Tears.
Tears for Halloween again.
You could also be crying over pasta.
Sure. If it's really bad pasta or if.
It'S really good like Rashank, it can.
Move you to tears. I see.
Exactly. Okay, this is nice. I really like this. This is like a nice setup.
Yeah, I think it's a good.
It's smooth. Yeah. I would give this an A.
Very wholesome and like, you know, it's the sort of function puts a smile on your face.
Right. A solid A. This is like. It's cool and it does what it's supposed to do. Yeah, Solid A. Okay, let's go. Web poll.
Yeah, web poll. I really like web poll.
Shonk, do you have your biases entering?
I have my pre. Yes.
Okay, hold on. I'm gonna try to get it to work.
Documentation. Even the best programmers look at documentation.
Gonna work. It's. I imagine setting witter or not.
It likes me with an empty question. It does not like you, Sam. It doesn't like green eggs and ham.
Wow.
Oh. What? What did it create?
It's generated something. Update the poll with a question. Is pasta better than ghosts?
The important questions of life. I shall ask the philosophy department now.
What just happened?
I don't know. Maybe we should look at the documentation. No.
This is horrible. Oh, we're supposed to get a name and a question.
Who would have guessed?
That makes sense. Let's name it rashanksaks. And the question will be, is pasta better than ghosts? Our custom.
No. We should do busts. I wonder if it'll still lead us to an error page. No. Okay.
Thank you for.
Can you. Don't close it. Can you update it with another question?
Maybe.
I think you have to keep the same name and then update it.
I give it. Yeah, let's try that.
Actually, I feel like this would be really handy. Like, instead of all that I like. What's the best brand of headphones? Or. Yeah, what's the best audio company?
Do we have any sponsors who would like to answer this question for. Look at.
Oh, no. What? Ah. Okay. There you go. Skull candy. That's the answer.
Skull candy. What on earth is that?
Skull candy. Have you not heard of skull candy? Google it right now. Sam.
Oh, sounds very suspicious.
No, it's. It's.
How do I. Like, what if I want to retrieve the answers for. I had.
Good question. You don't. Oh, can you get QR codes? That's so cool.
Why would there's update. Wow.
Why would you.
Running.
Ah. Why would anyone use kaggle or.
Don'T use what?
Not Kaggle. Like, what's that K thing. K website where people use that for like, questions and whatnot. Never mind.
We do this.
Yep.
Then we go. We answer this and we say skull Candy.
The C is not capitalized, by the way.
It's going to be capitalized from now on.
Yeah, I guess, technically.
Look at this.
Oh.
Whoa. That's really cool. Hold on.
This is. I feel like this is definitely S tier.
Yeah, this. This was very nice. I would say actually it's somewhere like in between Sna.
Nah, Definitely S. No way. It's not an absolute.
It can be like a low. S. High A.
It's S. Sam, you gotta. It's such a useful function and also really cool. Like imagine having your own.
I know. I think like usefulness. Yeah.
Embed the bull from page into your own website and have your own web polls.
Oh, look at this. My kindness. Okay.
And you. Candy or headphone.
You know. Yeah. Sponsored. Just Rushon.
Actually just shank. Yeah, it's just me. There's no need to share the sponsors.
Share the sponsorship with me. Wow. Okay. So moving on to function number seven. Rashank, I will graciously allow you to pick this one.
Yes. Let's go with canine vision.
Canine vision. Great choice. I think Every time you pick these from now on, you should do it in like dramatic. Like jeopardy kind of voice. Like canine vision for 500 or something. Okay.
Or 500. Yeah. That's a lot for a broad college student. 500.
500 pennies, maybe. Okay, what's the question called canine vision. It's gonna work, I guarantee it.
You need to put in an image, Sam. An image? What is it gonna canine vision for us?
I want it to canine vision.
You know, you wanted to canine vision the deep fried image.
Yeah.
Oh, my God. Oh, you're actually.
That's kind of a vibe.
It is a vibe. It's like one of those, what if we deep fry this kids to eat green vegetables? It has that kind of vibe.
So. You're so rude to these poor canines.
Oh, my God. What monstrosity is this going to produce? It just gave up. It's just. Okay, thank you.
It gave up.
No, no, it. I mean, I'm not surprised. But like, what is the error again? Expecting an image or graphics instead of image composed.
Offensive. That's right.
Not sure what the error is. You want to see how canine looks at pasta?
Yeah, like, is it going to enjoy this meal? Is it not? We will see.
Okay. Maybe that's why pasta. Like, I've never seen a dog, you know, make pasta. Have you?
No, but I also like, never really deeply interacted with a dog, so.
Fair.
What if we put this through canine vision? Do you think they can still see black and white?
I. I'm guessing they can. Oh, okay. It's pretty much. It's the exact same.
It's the same. It just looks a bit more blurry. Okay, so ranking this.
So dogs would really like our modular tessellation function. We should keep that in mind.
True.
I don't know. I feel like it's a D or.
Yeah. You know, like dogs for D. D for dogs.
Okay.
It's certainly interesting, but it's like a very brief.
It's interesting.
Sort of interesting, right?
Yeah, it's like that sort of interesting where it's like, oh, oh.
Yeah. And that's. That's just it. There's nothing beyond that. So I think D. I mean, handy.
I guess, if you're like a dog version researcher, but that's true. Maybe not the best function to play around with. Okay, let's move on to linearly independent for 3,000. 3,000 points. Pennies. Yeah. Resize function, Sam.
I can type. Okay, so I should probably give it.
Three vectors or multiple vectors.
Is it gonna take them in like that?
I Don't know. I think it's gonna expect a set. I think it's gonna expect a set of vectors or something like that because it doesn't like. It's probably only going to take like one argument, which is like a set of vectors.
That was. It didn't do what it was supposed to. It didn't magically read my mind and do it exactly as I. Yeah, see.
You need to give it a set of vectors.
So I need to just put all this into a set. Yeah, that's literally.
There we go. These are linearly independent. Do you want.
We did them with like X squared types. You can. Are these linearly independent? It can't tell me.
Oh, can it not? I mean, interesting vectors.
What if I put these two into like, their own. I'm pretty sure those are linearly independent, though. Huh. I've caught a bug.
I doubt it. I feel like it's. This is.
See, like, while. This is definitely very useful.
Yes.
Wait, that's kind of cool.
I mean, X is not defined there. Right? Do you. I do.
Here, see, look at this. True. If H is not equal.
Exactly. So that's pretty cool in X there. Oh, you're right. It. So it gives like conditions.
I don't know why it listens to it when it does it like that, but not to me normally.
Maybe doesn't handle like quadratics and all of that. Wait, Sam, you've only given it like one. Is it a. It's a vector of length one.
Yeah.
Which I guess that still works, like, technically, right?
I don't. I'm pretty sure those are linearly.
No. Great. Like any two vectors of length one are going to be linearly dependent though, right? Because you can multiply something to one to get the other. Give it a vector of length two. No, don't give it more X's. Just give it like a regular number.
I don't know. I think it'd be interesting.
Yeah.
See, Whoa.
It does because.
Yeah, clearly I learned nothing in linear algebra. Wait, that's really cool. I like that. That would make my algebra homework so much easier.
Yeah, no, not that we're advocating for anyone watching this video to use linearly independent to test their solutions. But like, you know, like, you know.
If you wanted to. Yeah, it's like a science experiment, but.
You'Re not condoning it. But like, I vote straight to A. Yeah, I agree. Also, did you see that sort of image going around? I don't know if this was just a Stanford thing, but there was this image going around of a professor who was like, you know, many students have complained to me about the inaccessibility of course textbooks in light of that fact. I must remind.
Yeah. And then he went out and he.
Was like, yeah, yeah. Websites that promise and deliver on free books. Like, you know, one label.
Yeah. I thought it was really great.
I was like, what was I saying again? Oh, well, you know, it was so funny.
I was like, this is true. True human kindness.
You know, sharing benevolence.
Sharing. Warning each other of sites to read textbooks on random.
English iq. We're going with that next.
Nice. Good choice.
As a creative writing minor, I feel obligated.
Creative writing.
Seriously minor.
That's still too much words for my comfort there. Oh, wait. No, no, no, no. No.
Arguments, arguments.
It's gonna work. It's gonna work.
I think that's all the arguments that needed.
I'm manifesting this. I'm glaring into my laptop screen. It's going to work.
Yay.
Look at that funny block. Sheeplessness. Safer lung score. Speckled swiftness. Pace.
Beautiful.
I think that that goes straight up to S. Literally cannot be beat.
Yeah.
I think it's, like, kind of close to daylight. Cue kind of tier.
I'm gonna put it, like, somewhere, right? Yeah. It's such deep poetry. I don't know if it comes close to daylight. Q, though. You just leave it at S. I'm.
Gonna put it like a high S, like at the top section of S. Sure. Because that was. It is approaching transcendence.
Yeah. That poetry touched my heart. It was so, so poetic.
Let's try to find it. See if we can get another one. Hallucination. Disillusioning. Buried. Rest About.
Great friend. Oh, my God. This is. Let's do one.
I'm in tears. Literally.
Yeah. Semester shunt fail. Oh, my God. Is it threatening with this message Straight for you. Fun beryllium. No, I mean, I'm not taking chemistry with shard.
I'm taking chemistry. The second line is meant for me.
Born. Third scrutineer. That's like our destiny. We end up at a barn because Stanford does have barns, like, owned by the university. And we're going to be thirsty.
I know what scrutiny is, but yeah.
Someone who scrutinies things is going to come by and scrutiny us.
Scrutinize, scrutinize us.
Yes.
It's a prophecy. Better future. What a deep, incredible function.
Interesting.
Okay, I'm gonna go Epidemic model.
Yeah. Great.
And it's going to work without me touching the documentation, of course.
The. That's how all Great programmers work.
Oh, it did.
I mean this is super helpful if you're trying.
I knew you didn't believe in me.
Biology or like any. Yeah, like basically.
This is really cool.
Yeah, let's do.
Sir, I don't know what that means.
But different types recovered academic quotes.
Can we lower days down? Well, let's do it to maximum days and then let's say people are infinitely dying.
No.
And they never recover.
Oh, very few people recover. Yeah, that's going to be bad.
Okay, maybe. I gotta say, infection rate is not. I don't know what I'm learning about stuff here, but I'm sure it's.
This was a part of like a guided classroom activity. I'm sure you would learn a lot.
How come no one recovers and these people are growing infinitely.
I mean the recovery rate is.
Oh, look at this. This is nice. This is a deep analysis.
Yep.
I think this is really helpful. I would give it. I don't think it ranks high on coolness factor, but like in terms of. Yeah, I'd say a solid B. Yeah.
Like I feel like the. Could be a bit nicer to use, but this is already good.
It's pretty good. I like it.
Maybe you could enter the infection rate instead of like having to scroll or whatnot. Can you click on that plus thing? Can you like actually enter the. Oh, okay, perfect.
Oh yeah. Nice. Nice. Can I animate this?
I doubt it.
Okay, so. Okay. Solid B. What are we going for next, Rashank?
Wolfie say actually geoglobe3d. Wolfie say should come at the end.
One day I'm going to learn how to type resource properly.
But that day is not today.
Gee, thanks, Rashank.
Yep.
Pairing geostat, downloading geotiles.
You can tell a lot of work is going on behind the scenes.
Processing vector geodata.
Yes. Some websites put like fake progress bars in there to think. To get you to think they're doing a lot when they actually.
They're not doing anything. It's horrible.
Yeah.
When you just have bad Internet. Is it. Is it going on a. Oh, it gave me an error message. Bad function in cap in compatible elements maybe.
Yeah.
Wow, it moves. Look at that.
Why is Belgium. Why are Belgium and South Africa so huge? Like I've never seen Belgium scrolling.
You know, Belgium is important. The South China Sea.
Is it that important?
Yes.
So is the South China Sea.
Belgium top. Can I zoom into this? No.
I don't know, Sam. Maybe the documentation has something to say.
I feel like this entire episode is just going to Be you trying to get me to use documentation. Primitives. Are those primitives? It's centered on my current location.
You're in Belgium.
Well, I think it naturally spawned like this.
Yeah, yeah. No, like this. Right.
Centered right here.
Yep.
American. The center. A geomarker indicating Iceland.
Oh, okay. Let's do that.
Oh, wait. This is. Look. This looks cool.
Simulated sun. So it's going to simulate the path of the sun.
It's going to simulate me. That's true. It is night. Right? Wait, hold on. What if we combine daylight queue with this?
No, I. I doubt you could combine it.
Maybe not. Is that an actual function?
That is an actual function. It's been elevated.
See, look. It tells me that Daylight Q's daylight. Q tells me it's night. And now I can truly see.
As convenient as always. This is the perfect companion to Daylight Q.
Right. Like, instead of the exhausting process of looking at the window two inches behind me, I could just. Two in a full frame.
Oh, my God.
That's like right behind my head. But so much work to like, turn and actually look through it. Right.
I could just imagine what could. What would happen if you turned your head. You could, like, pull a muscle or something, you know?
Exactly.
Right? Yeah. The globe. Wow.
That's nice.
On the other side of the world. Isn't that crazy? Like, I would not have expected how the revolution.
I like how this line isn't like, straight either. Like it's. It's like tilted. That is true dedication.
Yeah, I'm sure there's. That does represent the modeling, you know.
In terms of how this is like a perfect companion for Daylight Q. Top notch.
Yeah. Oh, wow. Geoglow.
You can do Mars too. Oh, my God. That makes it infinitely better.
Wait, can we. Can we plot all these three points on Mars? I want to chart out my itinerary for, you know, whenever I inevitably visit.
Can you visit Mars? Okay. You got to do multiple geomarkers.
What's something else on Mars? Yeah, and an entity. Solar system feature. Like, I remember. What's that face called? You know, that face on Mars?
No.
Search for face on Mars. I'm sure it has a name. Face Sam. And your. The look on your face when you find out it's spelled face. Cydonia. Okay, let's put Cynthia.
Yo. That's so cool. Is it like Cydonia?
And then close the brackets.
No, no. Okay, I'm anti brackets.
These two points. What if it doesn't find any solar system feature named Cytonia? Okay. Oh, I think you'll have to put that in a list, you know, because it put the first two things in a list. Yeah, the first two. Sam, not all of the. The. No.
It'S fine. Kind of worked.
Yeah. Here's the face. Guessing one of the.
Oh, look at that.
They're like.
Oh, they're on opposite.
Pretty much diametrically opposite. Oh, well, I guess that's going to be a long trip, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
When you literally come to it. Because you're not on.
Okay.
I'm so funny. Anyway, where do we feel like this goes?
Geoglow. Pretty. I mean, I like. I like it. I think it's a. It's an A.
I like how it paired well with daylight Q.
That also.
It also bothered me, you know, like, it felt like it was trying to intrude into the glory of daylight Q.
You're just trying to put stuff below the chart because you can't appreciate how every single function in the Wolfram language is so cool. Right.
You know, I think the E and F sections here just look really lonely.
No, there. There's just no ENF function in Wolfram. That's how cool.
Except for provable prime Q, which is.
Except for that. No, that's below F. But, like, maybe not S, but like an A and B. I accept that in A minus.
Is what we'll give it.
A minus. Yeah. In the lingo of the university teacher. Okay, Wolfie, say this. I wonder if there's a companion function called Wolfie do. No, it doesn't look like it's horrible. Yeah.
Maybe I should actually, like, give it a quote.
Yeah, a quote. What if quote. How about that? Awesome. That's so cute.
Nice.
Does it have the same approval?
It's going straight up to us. I give my full approval on this function. Like, look at this. Can I.
No, no, that would be. Give it, like, a really long sentence. Like, let's see how it deals with long sentences. Like, and. What even is pasta day? I mean, if we're getting. If we're gonna get more pasta on pasta day, I'm all for it.
I don't know.
Did you just call me horrible?
I would never.
Oh, okay.
No, I like that. It's nice. It expanded. Let's see if I can do any more cool things.
I don't know. I'm kind of disappointed if. To see that it's not actually a wolf. That's saying wolf.
You say you can give it a plot.
It's a wolf. Wow. Wait, let's do that. But Give it the image of the pastel. Can I take an image?
Oh.
Oh, it is a wolf. It kind of looked like a bear.
Labeled style. What if I take. What if I give it the image here? This is pretty cool pasta.
Yeah. Also, doesn't the wolf look kind of like a bear?
Yo, look at this.
Oh, this is so cool. Definitely a nice.
I like this. This is nice. I think I can even. Neat example.
Ception and wolf. Wolfie say exception.
Look at this.
That is beautiful.
My laptop can't handle this, but, like.
It'S fine.
Look at this. It's like a conversation.
Yeah. Bernardo, that's amazing.
Oh, my God. When this loads, it's just thinking whether or not it wants to.
Yeah, I think we gave it too many. We could have done like 10 instead of 20. Yay.
That's nice. Top tier.
Yep. S tier for sure.
Yeah. Okay. Well, in relation to deep fry image, I'd say it's like, same level as deep fry image.
Yeah, agreed. Don't overlay on top of each other, though.
Put them on the right next to each other.
Deep fry image will if you say yeah, or Wolfie say deep fry image.
No, I don't know the lore of deep frame. It just knocks it straight up to top for me.
No, Wolfie say deep frame. You just change the order. They're on the same level. It sounds more fun.
Oh, that's true. Okay. Wolfie saved it for image. Okay, there we go. This is our. I like how when I do it like this, it looks like one big function.
Yeah, it's fine. I'm sure our viewers have been intently watching and will be able to distinguish between both of those. There's our beautiful present to you. Yeah. Our amazing tier list of Woltram resource functions.
We have daylight Q at the top, reminding of its transcendence provable prime Q stealing the absolute bottom spot for the fact that it cannot tell me whether negative one is provably prime or not. Random English haiku is getting really close to transcendence.
It's not there yet. It's got to meditate for the in the forest for 15 more years.
Yes. But eventually, you know, it might start to reach the scope. I like you.
Okay, well, thank you so much for watching and happy Halloween. Enjoy spooky season.
Happy pasta day is what he means.
Enjoy pasta season doesn't have the same ring to it.
Pasta season is a totally valid thing. Aren't you enjoying pasta season season right now?
Yes, but it's always pasta.
Therefore, it is pasta season. It is always pasta season. I'm gonna go have pasta for dinner.
Okay, well, thank you so much and have a great day.
And if you want to watch our next episode, be sure to tune back in in two weeks time. Thank you all for listening. Have a great day.
