Okay, I know you've had those days, and I'm having one of those days. And it's the days when you just do not want to get out of bed. What do you do? Well, all the tricks and techniques that I know, sometimes it works, sometimes they don't. But there's one foolproof method that will get me out of bed. Even on the days when all I want to do is just dig deeper, pull, pull the covers up and stay right there. And I'm going to share what that is right now.
Here's the big how are these average everyday moms getting radical results in their lives? How are they able to transform their health, money, families, homes, and have fun doing it? The trick. We're not average. I'm Hannah Keeley and I'm going to spill our secrets and answer your questions. And right now in that mom show.
Okay, this morning, I did not want to get out of bed. I'm walking fits right now. And thank you for coming along on my walk with me because I love spending time with you. And to this, this morning, I will. I'm just going to be totally real with you like I always am. I did not want to get out of bed. I. My head was throbbing, my nose was all stopped up, as you can probably still tell. And I literally just was like, I don't. I just can't do it. Not today. I don't know what it was. Maybe I didn't eat well yesterday or I don't know what it was. But, man, last night took. Took a toll on me and I did not want to get out of bed. I felt horrible. And you know how I am. Like, if you're inside Mom Master University, we, you know, we have our own lingo. We talk about getting your boob on. Boob stands for butt out of bed. We are big proponents of setting the alarm, getting out of bed, and you tackling the day before the day has a chance to tackle you big proponents. Get your boob on. Get your boob on. And this morning I'm like, I don't care what's happening to my boobs. Like, I'm just. I just want to lay here and just dig deeper in bed and get about, you know, half an hour more sleep. But then there's this one thing. Like, even when I'm feeling like poop, y', all, even when I feel horrible, I'm like, I have no choice. I gotta get out of bed. And we can do this in a positive way or negative way. And here's what will get me out of bed even when I don't want to. And it is accountability. I know that there are people and animals like today going on a walk depending on me. And when we know that we are meeting someone at the gym, when we know that we have a call in the morning with someone, when we know that someone else's success hinges on our success, which you may not realize this right now, but it does. There are people looking to you. There are people modeling you. There are people watching you. Your own children are watching you to see, you know what? How do you do life when you really don't feel like doing it at all? They're watching you because more is caught than taught when it comes to children. And they're going to see how you tackle the day, even when before you wake up, the day has already tackled you and you feel bad and you just want to call it quits before you even get up in the morning. They're watching you. People are watching you. Your children are watching you. And they're saying, what do you do? What does this person do? What does this mom do when life has knocked her out? Is she going to stay in bed or is she going to get up? And I got up, and the thing is, I still felt bad. I felt horrible. But there's my dog. Okay, let's go on a walk. I know I have to do interviews today. I've got several deadlines. And those deadlines, what I think about is every single call, every single video I make, every single podcast episode I record hinges on somebody else. There's someone else on the other line, on the other side of my obedience. So if we can be obedient to just show up, y', all, that's 90% of it. Right there is just showing up, just getting out of bed, just pressing play, just putting your shoes on, just showing up. Once you start the momentum, it'll take on a life of its own. That's how it is with moms. We put the mom in momentum, baby.

But we got to get going. And I know there are days you don't want to. I am having one of those days today. And you know what? The last thing I wanted to do, I was like, I just want to be miserable. Even when I'm on the walk, I'm like, all right, I'm just going to walk halfway, and I'm not even going to listen to my proclamations and speak them. And I'm not. And I was like, no, if I'm going to show up, I'm going to show up. Like, God doesn't do anything halfway. He doesn't expect us to do anything halfway. We do it. We do it with completion. And this sense of accountability, like someone else's success, hinges on our ability to show up. It can be your kids, people you mentor, people who are in your circle, who you don't even realize are watching you. You can either face this in a positive way or a negative way. You can either be like, yes, thank you, God, for this, this amazing position you've given me. Thank you for this responsibility that I prayed for. Thank you for this child that I prayed for that sometimes I want to complain about. Thank you for that blessing. Now I'm going to show up. Or you can be negative about it, like, oh, my gosh, I got to show up again. I got to take care of these kids. No one else will do it. No one else is going to walk. The dog always comes back to me. We can face in a positive way or negative way. Either way, we're going to do it right. Either way, inevitably, whether you get your butt out of bed, your boob on, or whether some emergency gets you out of bed, you're going to show up. So why not show up positive? Like, someone is going to make breakfast. Someone is going to change the diapers. Someone is going to pay the bills and make the calls and run the errands. Why not just show up positive? It's kind of that philosophy of, you know, it takes more muscles to frown than smile. Like, you're going to have a facial expression anyway. Why not have a smile instead of a scowl? You're going to show up so you can make a choice. You can get out of bed even if you feel like poop, even if your nose is all stopped up in, your head is throbbing. And I guarantee you when you show up, when you do get that get your boob on, get your butt out of bed, you're going to be so much more powerful. You're going to realize that you have energy that you didn't know you had. You're going to get more stuff done. And the most important thing of this whole process, please listen to me. If you've zoned out, I know how it is with moms. We all have mom brain. Come back in. Listen to me tell you this one thing. If you do show up, if you do get your butt out of bed because you know more hinges on you that you have accountability, people, the world is waiting on you to show up. If you do get out of bed and, and if you do do this in a positive way, think about it. You just solidified the trust relationship with yourself. One of the biggest problems moms have today is we don't trust ourselves. We don't have a trust relationship with ourselves because we say we're going to do one thing and we don't do it. And if someone always said, yeah, I'll meet you at the gym and you keep showing up and they never do, are you going to believe them when they say that they're going to meet you there? No. If someone keeps on coming in late to work and they're like, no, I'm going to come in early, I promise. And you're like, well, maybe they will, maybe they won't. You don't trust them because they've shown that they have a lack of integrity. And when you don't show up for yourself, you're going to ruin the trust relationship because lying to yourself is the highest form of treachery. So when you show up, you're solidifying that trust relationship with yourself and you're solidifying your identity as a woman of integrity. When you say you're going to do something, you do it. Even when your nose is all stuffed up and your head is throbbing, you're going to do it. I hope this helps you today. Remember, there is someone else's success and freedom on the other side of your obedience. And that person's success and freedom. It just could be you. I love you so much. I got your back. I care about you. We'll talk later.
