Welcome to the Crazy Blessed podcast where we use biblical principles to create a life and business that's blessed like crazy. I'm your host, Hannah Keeley. Let the craziness begin. So, time to take your territory. What is your territory? What are you believing for? What are you hoping for? What are you dreaming for? What is that goal that you have put in front of you every year, year after year, month after month, and you still haven't gotten it? What is it you think about this right now? I want this to be hands on. I want this. I want you to implement this. This isn't just me talking, you listening or watching. This is implementation of God's word so you can get real results. So let's talk about taking your territory now. I'm going to go to. It's in Joshua 18, if you're following along scripturally, Joshua 18, verses one through three. Check this out. It says in the whole congregation of the Israelites assembled at Shiloh and set up the tent of meeting there. And the land was subdued before them. That's important. The land was already subdued before them. And there remained among the Israelites seven tribes who had not yet divided their inheritance. So their inheritance means they already have it, but they hadn't received it yet. They haven't gotten it yet. Joshua asked the Israelites, how long will you be slack to go in and possess the land which the Lord the God of your fathers has given you? What you want wants you. I want you to think about that. What you want wants you. What do you desire? Let's just take a little, little reprieve before I dig into the scripture. What do you desire in life? What is the goal that you've been wanting to achieve? Is it better health? Is it getting out of debt? Is it a financial legacy for your family? Is it a, Is it a healthier marriage? Is it a better relationship with your kids? Is it whether maybe health concerns, whatever that is? Maybe you're ready to get out of the anxiety or the depression that you've been dealing with. That's your territory. How do I know this? How do I know it is set aside for you? Because God does not lie. God is faithful and he keeps his promise and he is no respecter persons. Whatever he does for one person, he will also do for you. And he's already established a way for you to do this, for you to receive this, whatever that looks like. So I'm going to go into this because there's actually three things, three things that are stopping you from, from taking your Territory. Only three things. If we can get really clear on these three things, then what you want can already be received in your life. There is nothing circumstantial holding you back from that thing that you desire. There's no, like, oh, well, I can't because of this excuse and this reason and whatever, you can go down a mile long. Well, I can't lose weight because of this reason. I can't. I can't make more money because I'm on a fixed income. I. I can't have family intimacy and unity because my kids are disrespectful. Like, stop. You. You can either have excuses or you can have success, but you cannot. You will not have both. So as long as you're ready to take responsibility of going in and taking your territory, we can do it. We can do it just as easy as Mac and Cheesy. But you got to be willing to look into this and. And quit holding excuses on. Well, why haven't you gotten your miracle yet? Why aren't you out of debt yet? Why don't you have? Why are you still disease ridden? Why is this still a problem in your life? What is holding you back from achieving what God has already set aside and promised for you? Because he won't do for one what he won't do for another. He is faithful and he is a good father to all of his children. So we need to get to the root of the problem so we can take our territory. Because what you desire is already there. It's all. It's like you want $1,000 and it's already in your bank account and you just won't use that card or you just won't cash that check. It's like, no, I just want to stay broke. Money's already there. You're just not receiving it and putting it to use. You. You are not taking your territory. So like I said, there's only three things. Three things that prevent us from taking your territory and receiving the promise that God has already set aside for us. What are those three things? Number one, ignorance. We just don't know what we don't know. There are people today, I don't know if you're one of them or not. People today who are staying with the problem, nursing that problem, holding their problem, making that problem their identity. I'm the one who's gone through trauma. I'm the one who was abused. I'm the one who has that illness. I'm the one who is so scattered. I'm the one who. Who's bad with money, whatever that thing is. You're going through life with an excuse, not realizing that the. The answer to what you're struggling with is already set aside for you. It's already there for you, but your ignorance is preventing you. You don't know. And here's the deal. Satan wants to keep you dumb. Satan wants to keep you blind to it. He wants. He doesn't want you to know what you have access to, right? He doesn't want you to know because then you could use that to come against him and defeat him. And now establish the life of abundance that God wants you to have and. And has already established for you to have through Jesus. So let me show you what this looks like, because this is in Deuteronomy. No, no, I'm sorry, I lied. Genesis 17. Genesis 17. I'm starting with second verse. I will make my covenant. I'm going to go back to that. So I want you to hold on to the word covenant. I will make my covenant, my solemn pledge between me and you. And will multiply you exceedingly. Not just a little bit exceedingly. I will make. Oh, it says then Abram, Abraham. Before he became Abraham, he was Abram. Then Abram fell on his face. And God said to him, as for me, behold, my covenant, my solemn pledge is with you. And you shall be the father of many nations. Nor shall your name any longer be Abram, which means high and exalted Father, but your name shall be Abraham. That's that was established. He changed his name. When he stepped into the covenant, he became a different person. I'll explain that in just a minute. For I have made you the father of many nations, if Abraham means father of multitudes. And I will make you exceedingly fruitful. And I will make nations of you. And kings will come from you. And I will establish my covenant between me and you and your descendants after you, throughout their generations, for an everlasting solemn pledge to be a God to you and to your posterity. After you. If you have children, I want you to listen up right now. If you have children. Says right there part of that covenant promise. And yes, that covenant that he made with Abraham is yours too. It was made to Abraham so we could come through Abraham through the blood of Jesus, so that now everyone who calls upon the blood of Jesus to be saved, now you step into that covenant promise to imagine like. Like one prayer, change your identity in this. God made the covenant. In a moment, he established his covenant. In a moment. God can do the same thing in your life. All of it changes in a moment. He collapses time. That's what God does. He collapses time so that everything that is included in this covenant package is immediately yours. It's like the all inclusive, the most amazing all inclusive package. Your, Your health, your financial wealth, your. The joy in your relationships, the unity you feel in the kingdom, the, the abundance, the joy, freedom, all of that is included in the covenant package. Now, one moment, you have access to all of that. Everything that is included in that promise is yours through Jesus. Now here's, here's the thing. It changes who you are. It changed Abraham's name from Abram to Abraham. So when I got married to Blair, I was Hannah Jenkins. When I got married at that moment, boom, I became Hannah Jenkins Keeley. Now I have a covenant relationship with my husband. That's actually why the, the bride typically changes her name. It's not like some kind of like, oh, now I, he has ownership over me. It's not some kind of thing that woke culture will try to get you to believe. It's actually a metaphor of what happens between Jesus and the church. If you look at it, marriage is just a metaphor of what God does to his people, for his people, through his people. So Jesus is the groom and the bride is the church. And that beautiful covenant relationship, everything that we desire. When I say the church, I mean me and you people, right? People who are now have called upon Jesus for salvation, people who are Christians, who are believers, who, who have trusted Jesus with their life. So those people that. That's the church. That's what I call the church. When a person makes Jesus the Lord of their life, that is entering into that covenant relationship. So it changes our identity. Now, when I became married, everything that was his is now mine. Everything that was mine is now his. So we have mutual property. So I want you to think about this. If it's a metaphor, then that means the covenant promise. Once you say yes to Jesus, that covenant promise and everything that's included in it, everything that Jesus died for you to have. And he says in John 10:10, I have come that you may have life and have it in abundance to the full, till it overflows. That covenant promise that life is available to you, boom. At the moment you receive Jesus as your Savior. But why are you still living with pain and anxiety and financial hardship and struggle in your relationship? Why are you still living that? So there are people who believe, okay, I'm a Christian, but my life is still hard. It shouldn't be hard. Yes, it is. Because that decision just entered you into that covenant. Now you have to work with your mind to understand everything you have access to and go in and take your territory. So if I was, like, I could not realize I was married, I could just go out of there and say, wait. But no, I'm. I'm still single. I'm. I'm. I'm Hannah Jenkins, and we don't really have this marriage relationship. That would not be true. Now, what's true is whatever you make seem true to you, if you don't know what's available to you, you will not take access. If I know that Blair and I. Let's say. Let's say when I married Blair, he had a billion dollars in the bank. I wish. But that was not the case. But that was not the case. However, you know what it is when I am a believer, like, think about it. We may as well have that mentality that we have billions in the bank because we now have a relationship through Jesus with God who has inexhaustible wealth for us. So I just, like, taught myself something just now. So. But let's say in the natural kingdom, Blair had a billion dollars in the bank. I married him. We now share property. What's his is mine. Was mine is his. Now I. Just. Because of that decision, I now have access to all that money. That's. But if I don't know. If it's like a secret and I don't know about it, I won't. I won't have access to it. I won't take advantage of it. I won't receive it. I won't use it, which is probably the case in some marriages, but I'm not gonna go down that road. So this is what it's like when you have that relationship with God. Now, everything that is his that's available through Jesus is yours. Like that film, that fast, all the covenant promises. So why do we still stay in stress and overwhelm and defeat and pain and suffering? Because, number one, ignorance. We don't know it. So you have to know that this is available to you if you have ever said yes to Jesus, and if you have not, it's so easy. It is the easiest prayer, the best decision you will ever make. And it's just a prayer. And I want to encourage you right now, if you have never said that, if you have never allowed Jesus to be Lord of your life, all that means is a prayer. And I'll lead you in it. It's, dear Lord Jesus, thank you that you died for me so that I could Live forever with you. Jesus, forgive me of my sins. Take my life. Do something amazing with it. I make you my Lord. It's not easy. There's no magic to it. It's just a supernatural decision that now, boom, just like that, you have access to everything. So we're gonna put ignorance aside. We're not gonna be claimed ignorant anymore. You know what? Ignorance is not bliss. Wow, that tea is hot. Whoa. Okay, where was I? Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance is actually pain. Ignorance is suffering. Ignorance is every day trying to make it through the day and feeling like you're not enough and you can't get it right and not knowing why. Have you ever been like that? It's like, I just wish I knew what was wrong with me. I wish there's some miracle cure. I wish I could finally have some peace in my life. You can, because ignorance is not bliss. Okay, we're going to go ahead and realize that right now, so we don't claim ignorance anymore. You are a child of the most high God. If you said that prayer, you are a child of the most high God. You are a kingdom heir. You have access to all of the covenant riches, all the promises. It's yours now. We take it. How do we take it? The second thing that can hold you back, number one, is ignorance. The second thing that can hold you back. Are you ready for this? Fear. Fear of the unfamiliar. I was talking with someone the other day, and they were talking about how miserable this person was in their life, that they're always complaining and they're so frustrated and they're angry and they complain about being miserable and that they always want to change, but they won't change. And I said, you know, some people, we have to give them the freedom to be miserable because they're happier when they're miserable. Why? Because change is scary. I want you to understand that Change is scary the first time you try something new. The first time. I remember the first time I invested in myself one of the scariest things I ever did. Spending money I didn't have to get, skills I did not have to pursue a career that I didn't know if I'd be successful in or not. Scariest decision. Way scarier than anything like getting married or having babies. And I remember I made that decision and promptly went and puked in the toilet. It was scary. I'm grateful I did. But one thing that can hold you back from receiving everything that God wants you to have in your life, all the abundance, all the peace, all the joy, all the prosperity, all the divine health, all the goodness, all the gifts. One thing that can hold you back is fear, because it's different. It's unfamiliar. Pain is familiar. Your patterns of how you argue in your marriage or your patterns of how you struggle as a. As a parent. Your patterns of how you deal with the clutter in your house. Your patterns of sickness. Sickness can sometimes become like a buddy in your life, and it becomes part of your identity, and you can't even imagine life without it. Right? So as much as it's painful, what we have to realize is it's scary to change. The opportunity can be right in front of you, but it will always take a boldness to go into a new territory because you don't know what kind of. What kind of giants or what. What kind of risks lay there in that new territory. So I want to read this to you. This is from numbers 13. And this was a time when Joshua sent spies into the promised land. Now, promised land is symbolic of all the promises that God has for you. You walking into that promised land because he's not going to throw his blessing into your lap for you to take advantage of. He's like, no, no, you need to step into the promised land. You need to take your territory, because it does nothing for us. If he just throws the money in our lap, says, okay, go spend it, and don't learn anything about me or, or don't. Don't have any intimacy with me, or don't bask in my presence and don't pursue me. Just pursue all the stuff. See, we don't pursue God for the stuff. The stuff pursues us because we're pursuing God. Did you get that? When we see God first, everything's added. And what God truly desires is that relationship with us. I don't even know what that was. What God truly desires is that relationship with us. And when we have that relationship, that's where all the blessing comes in. But he's not going to throw in our lap because then what happens? We just have the stuff, and we don't know him any better. And we don't really have the joy. We have the momentary thrills and the happy little, little moments, right? But we don't have that lasting joy, that abiding peace that comes when only by knowing God better. So why am I sharing this with you? Because I guarantee fear is present somewhere in your life. And it's key if. If you haven't walked into your territory yet. There is some element of fear that's holding you back. So Joshua had sent Spies to. To spy out the promised land and come back and give a full report. What's it look like? What's the tree like? What's. What's the harvest like? What are the plans? What's the layout? All that kind of stuff. So they come back. 10 of the spies said, oh, my gosh, it's horrible. Like, there's awesome stuff, but there's giants, and they're scary. We can't take it. Two of the spies said, Joshua and Caleb. They said, let's take it. We have God on our side. So I want to read this to you. This is numbers 13. This is when they had told him what it was like and that there's giants in that territory. Whatever territory you want to achieve in your life, whatever the goal is, whatever the miracle, whatever the breakthrough, whatever the promise you want to see manifest in your life, I guarantee you there's some giants that are going to come with the journey, guaranteed. If you let giants scare you out of that promise, you'll never walk in it, ever. You will die without experiencing the promise that God has set aside from for you only. You will die without it if you let the giant scare you away. But if you know that God is. He fights your battles. He is bigger than any giant you can face, you can now muster up the faith, not the strength, but the faith to go in and do the battle. Because it's just. It's just being present and knowing that God's got you, that you're loved and he's got you. So listen to this. So everyone was, like, all in an uproar. Oh, my gosh, it's great. But there's giants. Caleb quieted the people before Moses. This is Numbers 13, Verse 30. And said, Let us go up at once and possess it. We are well able to conquer it. I want you to say that out loud. Say, I'm gonna go up at once. I'm gonna possess it. I am well able to conquer it. Let's say it together again, one more time. I'm gonna go up at once. I'm gonna possess it. I am well able to conquer it. That's the truth. You can conquer anything because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world. Whatever you're looking at, whatever the giant is that you're scared of, God's greater than that. Million times greater than that. Now, it says in verse 31. But his fellow scout said, we are not able to go up against the people of Canaan, for they are stronger than we are. So they brought the Israelites an evil report of the land which they had scouted out, saying, the land through which we want to spite out is the land that devours its inhabitants. This is a lie they just gave. It says that they provided an evil report of the land they went to. The land through which you went spied out. This land devours its inhabitants and all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the Nephilim or giants, the sons of Anak who come from the giants. And we were in our own sights as grasshoppers. And so we were in their sight. Why don't you understand this? Fear shrinks you. Fear is very self concerned. Fear is looking at yourself more than it's looking at God. Fear is focused on your strength and not God's strength. Fear is minimizing your wisdom and therefore minimizing God's presence. That's what fear does. Faith is God focused. Fear is self focused. Faith says, you know what, I don't know how I could do it, but I know that God lives in me and he can do anything. I'm just going to take this the next step. That's what faith says. So right here, the reason that they were kept out of their promised land and probably the reason that you, you are still being kept out of your promised land and you haven't taken your territory yet is because there's something in that territory that looks scary to you. I remember thinking about when I first invested in myself. I was like, I could go bankrupt. I could not make any money. I could, you know, all, all the, all the what could happen, all negatively focused because our brain does have a negative bias to it and that could have easily talked me out of it. But with every what if? I had to have a why not? If God is for me, who can be against me? If God fights my battles, how can I lose? So we really have to understand the thing that is keeping me out is I'm focused more on the giant, the risk than I am on the reward the promise. So think about it with the spies. They were focused more on the risk, the giants than they were on the reward, the promised land. And because their focus was on was fear motivated, now they wouldn't walk into their promised land, they wouldn't take their territory. So the thing that could be keeping out of, keeping you out of your financial abundance could be fear. I'm scared to, I'm scared to get the training. I'm scared to take the next job. I'm scared to, to Sell whatever I have to sell to get out of debt. I'm scared to take the bold moves, think about a destructive relationship. Well, I'm scared to be on my own. I'm scared to. To make a bold decision. I'm scared to upset things. Even though what I'm living with is fears. Like fears. Feels like hell. The thought of changing it feels like a greater hell. But actually, that bold move is the one that's going to lead you to take the territory that God has already set aside for you. You need to take your territory. It's there for you. And the last thing. And then we're going to wrap this up. So what can keep you out? Ignorance. You just don't know. Second is fear. You're afraid of the giants in the territory, the risk that comes with the reward. And the third is just sheer laziness you always set aside. Oh, I'm going to get to it one day, I'm going to do that training. One day I'm going to make that move. One day I'm going to sell my house and hit the road one day I'm going to get in this relationship one day. And then one day turns into no day and it never happens, which I've seen way too many times. Sheer laziness. Putting it off, waiting till tomorrow. Baby, there's no promise that you have a tomorrow. You have right now. Now is all you have. You don't even have two minutes ago. You don't have two minutes from now. You have right now. And what that means is you don't have an opportunity to be lazy. If you want to take your territory, if you want to receive your promise, that means you have to go for it. You can look at the risk, but focus more on the reward. Say no to fear, say yes to faith, and then make your move. Laziness. You keep putting it off. I'm going to clean up this house one day, I'm going to start that diet one day, I'm going to get healthy one day. I'm going to travel to Europe one day. Baby, you haven't done it in how many years? You really think it's just you're gonna make a decision and do it, Then make that decision now. Do it now. Do it scared. Do it sloppy, do it imperfect, do it messy. Do it shaking in your boots, but do the thing. Check this out. There's a verse in Hebrews and I want to read that to you. I'm going to wrap this up with this verse in Hebrews, and it is Hebrews. 11:1. Now, faith is the assurance. I'm going to read the classic amplified version, the confirmation, the title deed of the things we hope for being the proof of things we do not see in the conviction of their reality. Faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses. Faith is now. Now, faith, if you truly believe, then you will receive your promises and make that bold move. Now, what is the decision you have been putting off? What is the move you haven't made yet? What can you do today to take you one step closer to it? Stop putting off your promise. It's time to take your territory. Claim that territory to set aside for you. I don't want you to die and go to heaven and realize when you get there, everything you could have had while you're here on earth. Remember, we are supposed to bring about the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. Everything that he has set aside for you is not to receive sometime in the sweet by and by is to receive right now, here and now. Experience it in this life. What is the adventure that you've been putting off? What is the dare that you haven't taken yet? Take your territory or you're gonna die without it. You'll. You'll never know the joy of stepping in to that territory and receiving everything that he has promised you. And Matthew, there's a story and this. I'm going to wrap it up with this, I promise. In Matthew, there's a story of servants. And their, their master is going away to come back and he entrusted each of them with talents which. It was just like gold. We'll just say like money. He puts, he gave one servant, you know, 10 bucks, he gave another five bucks. Okay, we'll say 100 bucks, 50 bucks, another 10, right? So the first two went and they took it to market and they, they traded and they started a business and they. Now when the master came back, he said, look what I did. Look what I did with your money. I multiplied it, I doubled it, I tripled it. He was like, well done, way to go. Second servant did the same thing. Third servant came back and he said, look, I knew you were kind of, kind of strict and kind of, kind of a hard master. So I hit it. And here you go. Here's your 10 bucks that you gave me safe and secure. Here it is. You know what he said? You know what the master said? He's like, good job holding on to that and keeping it safe. He didn't say that. He said, you wicked and slothful servant. He actually said this? I wrote it down first. Verse 26 Matthew 25. You wicked and lazy. Hold on to that word. Lazy and idle servant. He called him wicked, lazy and idle. Why? He. He. He had his $10. It's not like he took any of it. He was lazy, idle and wicked because he didn't face his fear. Take it to market, and act upon the gift that his Master had given him. God has given you a gift. A gift to take out there to the world, to serve the world, to multiply, to take the risk knowing that God's covenant backs you up. He was wicked because he always intended to, but he never did it. What do you always have the intent to do, but you still haven't taken action? I want to challenge you tonight. Take your territory. Get out of intention. Get into execution. What are you going to do tonight? One step. One step that'll lead you to the next thing. Remember, your territory is waiting for you. The promise is waiting for you. You can get there. It's. It's set aside for you. You have open access to it. What do you have to do? I'm going to show you. Ask yourself these two questions. What is fear telling me to do? And then what is faith telling me to do? I want you to write down the answers to both of those. What is fear telling me to do? And what is faith telling you to do? And then ask yourself this question. What is my next brave action? What is it? Is it booking the trip? Is it investing in the program? Is it having that conversation? What is it? There's one step you can take this week that'll lead you closer. Maybe even lead you into your promised land. It's time to take your territory, friend. I love you.
