Hannah Keeley shares a three-second morning ritual: throw off the covers, shout yes, plant your feet on the floor. She says it's a physical expression of openness to God's promises and has transformed her energy and spiritual alignment. She grounds it in biblical passages and urges listeners to try it for 30 days.

All right, so what if there was this one simple routine you could do? Every single day takes literally three seconds, and it had the power to completely not just change the trajectory of your whole day, but change your life. I am not kidding. God told me to start doing something several weeks ago, like, first thing in the morning, and it's kind of weird. Okay, I'm just going to be transparent with you. Kind of weird. But. But told me to start doing this one thing, and I can't even tell you how dramatically it has changed just the state and the energy and the productivity of every single day since then, hence changing my life. So I'm going to share this with you. Like I said, kind of weird. But, hey, this is the crazy blessed show, so come on inside. Be blessed like crazy. All right, guys. You got to be a little crazy, right? To be here on the crazy Bless show. I'm Hannah Keeley. I want to share with you something today that I was hesitant. Like, I was hesitant to share this with you because it's kind of weird. I shared it with a couple people, like, some close friends. They're like, oh, my gosh, I'm gonna start doing that. I'm like, really? Yeah. I can see how it can be so powerful. So, anyway, I'm gonna tell you what this is, but I'm also gonna tell you why it's so powerful in today's show. So several weeks ago, and I'm just gonna be real with you. I been kind of struggling with just. Just getting things, Getting systems working, getting things moving forward, getting specific structure. We're kind of switching our business a little and a lot, and it's hard to move from one thing to another. Like, it feels like you had to give everything a facelift. Everything needs work, Everything needs help. And. And I was struggling, and my energy was starting to wane, and I was kind of losing my excitement about things. And we've all been there at one time or another. You, you may be there with. I mean, I've been there as a mom. I've been there as a wife. I've been there as a minister. I've been there as a business leader, like, all these things. And you kind of hit this phase where you're like, man, I feel like I'm kind of just, like, walking through quicksand right now. And that's what I was feeling. And God told me this one thing to do, like I said, and it, like, knocked me right out of it. And now we're. We're getting systems set up. We're getting. It's like, you know, blessings out of nowhere are starting to pour in. I'm getting connections like I haven't gotten connections before. And. And things are opening up. It's becoming easier. So no matter where you are, if you feel like you're kind of like slowing down, you're losing motivation, you're losing excitement. You don't feel like you can get things in order. Like, you always feel like you're kind of catching up. This is going to help you extremely. And how to up your energy and start to get your excitement back, your state back, your productivity back. So let me get to this. Sorry, I just want to give a little preface there. So God told me every single morning. So right after I open my eyes, you know, we go through that spell. Like, we turn off our lawn, we're opening our eyes, we're stretching, we're kind of like getting out of bed. He said, this is how you're going to get out of bed from now on. Okay? And I'm just. I'm just listening. I'm waiting for it. And he said this before you even get out of bed, this is what you're gonna do, and this is how you're going to do it. And God told me this. Okay. All right. Judgment free zone. You got to be crazy blessed if you're not. Get off this right now before I share this with you. So he said to take the covers and throw them off to get excitement, to get my state up, to get my energy up, to start imagining everything and expecting it and getting excited about it. And then say yes as I jump out of bed and put both feet landed firmly on the floor and stand up. I know it's kind of weird. Like, now you can imagine me getting out of it. Like, bed head, crumpled pajamas, all that, throwing it all, smiling. Yes. And jumping out of bed and landing both feet on the floor. It's not like I like, levitate out of bed and land. Like, come on, like, swing your feet around, land them on the floor, plant them there. Yes. So anyway, I. I was like, okay, kind of weird, kind of crazy. But, hey, that's what I'm here for. Let's just go ahead and do it. It's kind of crazy. So. So started doing that, and I scared my husband the first time. Like, I literally was like, yes. He's like, what? What's going on? What's going on? I'm like, no, it's just between me and God. You're cool, honey. Just. Just leave it between me and God. He Knows enough not to just ask any questions from that point on. So started doing this, and immediately, like, you can't ease into the day. You can't, like, drag your butt into the day. It immediately makes you start the day with this precedent energy of expectancy and excitement and hope. And we know that how we're going to create everything in this life has 100% to do with everything we're creating in our head. Right? Because we, like, I am so against the hustle and grind mentality. And if you know me for any time at all, you'll know I, you know, I coach business leaders. I coach coaches, I coach moms. And 100% of the time, it has everything to do with what's going on in your head. That's why in Romans, we see that we do not conform to the pattern of this world. The pattern of this world says, you want to change something, then you better work at it. Like, come on, let's. Let's get busy. Let's hustle, let's grind. Let's work, work, work. All right, that's the old system. That's the old covenant. That is what we have been redeemed from with the power of Jesus Christ. So with Jesus, we are in this new covenant. We don't work to. To get it, to achieve it. We are open to receive it. That's why I will always say that we are not achievers. We are receivers. I want you to get that down in your spirit. If you've been trying to achieve and push and hustle and grind and you're still not making traction good, because God's not going to let you make traction that way. He's like, no, I'm not going to reward you for operating in a way that I never designed you to operate. And we will work so hard, we will burn the candle at both ends. We will get up early, we'll go to bed late. And we know, and the Bible says, you know, it's just vanity to get up early and go to bed late because God is the one who builds. So if you think you're going to build it on your own by working harder and you're a believer, you're going to be dismally disappointed. Because even if you achieve the thing, it will not give you the joy, the satisfaction, the abundance that you were hoping it would. There will always be a give and take. Oh, I can succeed in my family, but I'm going to fail as a mom. Well, I can succeed in ministry, but I'm going to fail my Finances? No, that's the world's way. The world says to hustle, grind, work harder and achieve it. God's way says, put on my easy yoke, rest, be still, abide in me and receive it. Remember, we're not achievers, we're. We're receivers. So how do we receive that? In the Bible it says this, I want to bring this out in Psalm 81:10 says, I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide and I will fill it. He's saying, look, I brought you out of captivity. Jesus is saying, look, I pulled your sorry, but out of sin and death and hell forever through the cross. How much work did you have to do to do that? How much work did you have to do to earn it? Nothing. We just received it. And he says, so if I, if I am the Lord your God, who will get you out of captivity for sin and death and hell forever, you don't think I can get you out of financial luck? You don't think I can get you out of this, this hard relationship? You don't think I can get you out of this trauma? You don't think I can get you out of this health condition? Really, I can rescue you, rescue your butt out of hell, but I can't rescue you out of like a bill you didn't see coming. So we immediately go to what do I have to do? God is saying, who do you have to be? So that is what this whole three second strategy, this whole three second routine is about to start the day with an openness and in an expectancy and a hope to receive it. I'm going to read to you out of Romans 15. This is verse 13. It says, May the God of your hope so fill you with all joy and peace and believing through the experience of your faith, that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be overflowing, bowling over with hope. So it's saying, you know what? May the God of your hope so this relationship with God, understanding how he works, understanding who he is, understanding that his power dwells in you, may this God, knowing him, help you in your believing. Remember, we go to the believing, not the achieving. Help you in your believing so that now you can have this power to achieve in this life, not by your hustle grind, but by just merely operating in hope. In 2 Corinthians 1:20, it says this. No matter. For no matter how many promises God has made, like we can look at his word, has he promised to give you Financial abundance? Yes. Has he promised you will live long in this land? Yes. Has he promised that you will have. That your children will rise up and call you blessed? Yes. Has he promised that you will. You will be blessed going out and blessed coming in? Yes. Has he promised that your storehouse will be blessed? Yes. Has he promised your household will be blessed, that will be filled with wealth and riches? Yes. So all of these promises, it says no matter how many promises God has made, like, line them up, baby, just write them all down. They are, yes, in Christ. And so through him, the amen is spoken by us to the glory of God. Yes. And amen. How do we receive all of these promises of God? If you really believe that God is God and his word is true and that you are part of his covenant through the blood of Jesus Christ, and you can look at every promise in the Bible. Say it. This is mine, and I receive it. So don't think just because you're going through problems means you're doing something wrong. Oh, that hit. That hit right there. Someone said, hannah, you just were reading my mail, sister. Yes, I was. Don't think just because you're going through problems, you're doing something wrong. Maybe I need to fast more. Maybe I need to pray more. Maybe I need to stop cussing so much. Maybe I need to. Maybe I need to cut off the glass of wine. Just because you're having a problem doesn't mean you are failing. It might mean God is trying to refine you so you can be in a position to receive everything he has. It's not about working harder. Even working harder spiritually, we don't earn salvation. We can't earn salvation. So we don't earn his promises either. We receive it, and we receive it by understanding who we are. That's why we don't work hard to sin less. Right? Get that down. Like, if you're trying to. Like, man, I keep on falling into this addiction, or I keep on screwing up this way, or I keep on losing my temper at my kids. Working harder does not help you become more righteous. Okay, get this. Knowing who you are and that you are already the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus now helps you lose the desire to sin. Somebody didn't get that. This is for the people in the back. I see you. I see you. This is for the people in the back. Working harder to sin less does not make you more righteous. Knowing you are already righteous helps you lose the desire to sin. So all of a sudden, you're like, I haven't Yelled at my kids in, like, three weeks. What? God is doing a mighty work in me because now I know who I am, and now I know he loves me, and now I know that all of his promises are yes and amen. So this attitude of knowing who you are and receiving all the power that God has for you, which will show up in the finished work of his promises, means we have to have an attitude of expectancy. This is why I believe God told me to start the day yes. With a resounding yes. Because it says right there in 2nd Corinthians 1:20, all of his promises are yes and amen. So there are some people watching today or listening today who are saying, well, yeah, that works for you, Hannah. But maybe God just wants me to learn from this illness, or he wants me to learn from this tragedy, or he wants me to learn something about, you know, being content because I'm broke. God did not wait for you to learn anything before receiving salvation. Think about that. He didn't wait for you to okay, now, understand my word. Understand who I am. Understand this decision you're making. Understand what hell is. Understand what heaven is. Understand what sin is. No. He said, you know what? How. How do we. How do we receive our salvation? We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and he rose. He died for our sins, and he rose again on the third day, and we asked him to be Lord of our life. And there it is. We didn't have to learn anything. We just had to receive it. So I'm saying that this attitude of expectancy will help get you out of the struggle, the physical struggle and the spiritual struggle. The physical struggle is I got to work harder to meet my goals. The spiritual struggle is I got to work harder to be more righteous. All of those are like, thrown in the garbage as soon as we place ourselves in the position of receiving. And that's. That's what this yes Does. And I'm telling you, as soon as I started making this a habit. Thrown off the covers. Now. If you. If you sleep naked, just make sure it's just you in the room. Okay? I will say that. Or not. Hey, we're crazy. Blessed. We can do whatever we want. Throw off the covers. Yes. Jump out of bed. Place both feet on the floor. Now, why both feet on the floor at the same time? I believe that is right here in Hebrews 6. Because I was doing some work on this, like God. Why did you tell me to do this? Just. Just so I can be even weirder than I already am. Like, what he never asked me to do anything normal. It's always like, hey, can you, like, really show that. That. That you don't care about if you look foolish or not? Sure. All right, I'm down for it. Yes, I'll do it. So ask me to do strange things, and I'm down for it. So Hebrews 6, 18, 20. I'm going to read this to you. And I'm reading it in the classic amplified version. I think it's going to give you so much knowledge about what he means here. So this was so that by two unchangeable things. Two unchangeable things, his promise and his oath. We just talked about. All of his promises are what? Yes, and Amen. Amen. So be it. It's done. Boom. Plant those feet on the floor. It's done. So two unchangeable things, his promise and his oath. His promises can't change. And his oath, his covenant, the one that was cut through the. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, that covenant, you get to be on the winning end of all of that. And it's unchangeable. So there's two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God ever to prove false or deceive us. He can't go against his oath. He can't go against his promise. He would not be God. And then what are we all doing here anyway? So he cannot prove false or deceive us. We who have fled to him for refuge might have mighty, indwelling strength. I want that strength and strong encouragement. Yes. I want to be encouraged to grasp and hold fast the hope appoint to us and set before us. So he's saying, this day you have set before you is filled with so much potential. It's filled with so much hope. It's filled with so much. Like all of his promises are just waiting to be birthed in your life so you can live in the finished work. All of it is just like this ripe, delicious, beautiful, amazing day, just pregnant with potential. How do we. What do we do about that? We hold fast to it. We hold. We're not holding fast to our own effort. We're holding fast to that hope that is unchangeable, that's appointed to us and set before us. Now, this is verse 19. Just like, you know, why would. Why did it take you, like, three minutes to go through that verse? You know me. All right, verse 19. Now, we have this hope as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul. It cannot slip and it cannot break down under whoever steps out upon it, a hope that reaches farther and enters into the very certainty of the presence within the veil where Jesus has entered in for us in advance. Guys, when you are stepping out into the day, you're going to make a choice. I'm either going to step out in my own intellect and strategy and wisdom, or I'm going to step out. And it says right here, step into now. I can't find it. Okay. It cannot break down under whoever steps out upon it. So what are we stepping out into? Okay, bear with me here. We are stepping out onto hope. And that hope cannot give way underneath us. Can your strategies fail? Yes. Can your intellect fail? Yes. Can your own mental wisdom fail? Yes. Stepping out onto the promises of God. God, I'm going to do things your way today. I'm going to hold that state where I am filled and flooded with your presence. I'm going to listen to what you say. I'm going to hear your directions, going to go where you lead me. I'm going to trust you. God, I'm going to risk whatever I have to risk to get the reward of being closer to you. Whatever that looks like, that is what you're stepping out onto. And when you step out onto that hope, it can't move. It's unchangeable. It says right here, it is sure, it is steadfast. It is unchangeable. And it reaches farther and enters into the very certainty of his presence. So this is why I believe, he told me, put both feet on the floor. Yes, plant your feet. So I make a conscious decision right then and there, I'm planted on hope. I'm going to do things God's way. I'm going to not do things my way. I'm not going to hold stress or, or fear, anxiety, overwhelm. I'm not going to hold it because as soon as I'm holding stress, like think about Peter, he steps out onto the boat, a presumed safety, and onto stormy waters. What makes no sense. He wasn't stepping out onto water. I want you to get this. He wasn't stepping out onto the water. He was stepping out onto hope. And that hope cannot disappoint you. It cannot give way. That's what it says in here. It cannot give way. It is sure. It is steadfast. It is unchangeable. So because Peter was in the right mindset that it's like the hope firmed up underneath as soon as he stepped out on it. So it wasn't even water he stepped out on. It was hope. And that hope held him now. When did he fall? He fell as soon as he looked around. And now it was illogical, it didn't make sense. It was he, it wasn't like his way of doing things. It wasn't like fit with his intellect and his strategies. And he started to sink. But look at what God does in his mercy. Jesus just reached down, picked him up. He's like, that's okay, I'm going to walk with you. So understand. Even with great starts to the day, we will have the moments when we're like, wait, this is scary. I, I, I, I, this is, I, I feel anxious, things aren't working, what do I do? And that's when we start to fall and that's when we have to know, wait, wait, wait, hold on. Get back up, get back up, get back up, get back up. I gotta get back on my hope game. Get back on my hope game. Come on, hold that hand. Because Jesus is always there. He said he never leave you or forsake you. So that's where you got to get that hope back up and plant your feet. Get your hope game up. Yes, you will sink, but you don't have to stay there. That's the good news. So I want to encourage you just this one three second practice. You may want to warn your spouse before you do this so it doesn't freak them out. But try this 13 second habit and just try for 30 days, see if it doesn't completely change your state, completely change your level of productivity and completely change the fruit you start to see in your life. I'm telling you baby, do things God's way and you're going to get better results than you could ever think of getting when you do things your way. 3 second habit. And it is powerful. Try it out and message me and let me know how it works for you. Put a comment here and let me know first. Let me know if you're going to do it. Okay? So leave a comment, let me know and then come back and tell me how it's working for you because I want to rejoice with you. I want to, I want to like link my faith with yours so we can show up in this world blessed like crazy.
