Hannah Keeley tells work-at-home moms why jumping between business ideas keeps them stuck. She launched seven businesses chasing shiny opportunities before realizing persistence and remembering your original reason—debt relief, personal growth, providing for your kids—matters more than chasing fame or money.

Alright, so what do you do when you're building a business? You get discouraged. It's frustrating. You're not seeing the results you want and you want to give up. I'm going to show you a little mind shift that's going to help change everything. Here's the big question. How are these average everyday moms getting radical results in their lives? How are they able to transform their health, money, family, families, homes, and have fun doing it? The trick? We're not average. I'm Hannah Keeley and I'm going to spill our secrets and answer your questions right now in that mom show. Okay? So this is really important because in building a business, everyone has to go through the same process. No one ever builds a business unless they're just doing a Facebook video or Instagram is like, I built my business in less than six months. I got six figures and it was so easy. And I could show you how to do it so easy overnight too. I'm sorry. Like, I'm sorry. I'm not buying it. Because every single person I know personally, not their Facebook story, but every single person I know personally, they didn't do it in six months, they didn't do it overnight, they didn't like run one campaign, and all of a sudden like, oh my gosh, how do I deal with all this business and all this money? No, they went through the same process. And that is you get a dream, you get a desire, you take massive action, you start creeping along and then you get stuck. Sometimes you even lose out. Sometimes you even. And I've been there too. Excuse me? I've been there too. You see progress and all of a sudden something wipes you out totally. And all of a sudden you're in a worse spot than you were when you even started your business. Like, all of a sudden you're like, wow, at least I had like $300 in my savings account before I started this business. And Now I'm negative 30,000. Like, I thought this business was supposed to make me money. I thought it was supposed to like build my future. But here's the deal. Anything worth doing is worth doing right. I've heard my mama say that, my daddy say that. I've heard my mentors say that. Hannah, anything worth doing is worth doing right goes back to the same thing that I had on a post it note on my bathroom mirror. You can ask any of my kids, every time they go in my bathroom, they would read that post it note that I had up there for at least eight years. It was like A yellow post it note. And it was up there for so long that the yellow got faded by the sun that came through the window and hit it. So it's like this kind of like a crew color, you know, like it was like this, this little. This off white. And on it with a big pin was written, how you do anything is how you do everything. And I had that on a post it note. And every single one of my kids can attest to that up there for years and years and years, because I had to remind myself of this almost on the daily. So I want to remind you of this on the daily. Here's what typically happens. But I don't believe you're tuning into this because you're a typical work at home mom. I don't believe that. I believe you're tuning into this because you're atypical. You're different. You want to get that lasting success. You're willing to do what it takes to get there. So the typical response is like, this isn't moving as fast as I want it to move. You're on a train, okay? This isn't moving as fast as I want it to move. Your business opportunity. I'm not seeing results, the results that I want to see. This is too hard. I'm getting discouraged. This is more work than I thought it would be. And so at the next stop, you know, when you're out $2,000 or whatever, you're like, wow, I'm just not seeing the return. So the train stops and then you hop on another train, a really fast train. You get on the fast train, it takes off. You're like, this train is so much better. My gosh, look at the results I'm gonna get. Look at the opportunity. This is huge. And then after about two or three stops to start slowing down, and you're like, oh, my gosh, this train isn't good either. This train is a failure too. At the next stop, now that I'm down $5,000, I'll get off and get on another shiny train that's going faster. Same thing. We do this, we switch businesses. Like, we change out of our blue jeans every three weeks. Hopefully you change out your blue jeans more often than that. But that's what we do typically. It's like, oh, this train isn't moving fast enough. I'll get out of this train and get on another one. I'm sorry, I'm moving out all over the place. But what we don't realize is it ain't the train, baby. It's the passenger. Because there are people who are going to ride that train all the way through the hills, through the valleys, and they're going to ride it into the promised land, baby. Into that promised land. Because they have persistence and they don't give up. But how do you do it when you want to switch trains so bad, when you're not seeing the results and you look at the shiny new train, the shiny new business opportunity say, oh, wait, well look, these people are making are millionaires. Oh my gosh. And oh, look at this product. It's so good and it's so easy to sell. And I'm gonna do that. I am. This, this one's gonna work for me. Can I tell you seven. That's the number seven home businesses. I started seven home businesses. Jewelry, face lotions, some kind of weird like juice that you got like two bottles of it a month or something. Like this weird juice. Like you're supposed to take shots of that weird juice company. Green drinks, exercise, makeup. And another one was like a contraption that you put in the washer that I did. I didn't even buy, like I didn't even buy it. So what I'm telling you is that I want you to be that kind of work at home mom who is a successful work at home mom. And what that means is you're not just spending 200 bucks a month and bringing in 40. Like, I want you to be the person who rides the train. And even when the, even when it dips and even when it's just creeping along, you're like, no, I'm riding this train. There's nothing wrong with the business model because people are making money. You're the only one that's not making money. So that's, that's the only problem is you're not making money. People are working the business and they're making money and they're having an impact and they're growing a business. What? Why aren't you. It's not the train, it's the passenger. So what do you do? Hey mama. We'll get right back to the podcast, but did you know there is an entire online university just for moms? If you're ready to get radical results in your life, just go to mommastery.com that's M O M M A S T E R-Y dot com. Make sure you check it out and take your free quiz. Again. That's mommastery.com and m o m m a s t e r y dot com. Now back to the Podcast. At that point when you're like, if I. If this train does not pick up, I am off on the next stop. And I'm. I know because I've been there and I would just jump off the train. I spent years and years and years getting deeper and deeper and deeper in debt because I would try every new business opportunity because evidently I couldn't make money. So there was evidently a problem with the business. It wasn't me. Like, no, it wasn't me. It was the business, of course. Do you see how God exalts the humble in due time? So it says in the Bible, he will exalt the humble in due time. If you keep on thinking that the problem is with the business or the opportunity, you're not being humble. You're being full of pride because you're not realizing the problem is with you. And it says, in due time. Due time. The due time comes through the journey. Not just the good times, but the bad times, the hills and the valleys, the fast times and the slow times. You keep on plugging in, you keep on persisting. You don't try to reinvent the wheel. You just keep doing what you do, keep learning along the way, keep getting the training, and you're going to have success. It's inevitable. As long as you don't give up, it's inevitable. But when you want to get up, when you want to give up, please listen to me. You're going to remember this one thing. This one thing. Remember why you started. Remember why you started. What was the reason? Was it to become, like, this big, rich and famous network marketing guru? Is that really enough to keep you powered through, like, poverty times? No. Is that enough to keep you powered through struggle? No. Did you start because you wanted to take fancy vacations and get a bunch of fans and get a bunch of likes? Because is that really enough to keep your butt on the train when it's not moving? No, it's not, because it's all vanity. It's all ego. But I believe you're here because you had a very valid and vital reason that you started. Maybe initially it was to get your personal growth. Maybe it was initially to get your butt out of debt. Maybe it was to build a better life for your children. Whenever I feel like quitting and y', all, I've had those moments, like, sometimes within the last month, definitely I've had those moments when I feel like quitting. It's never about the money, but it's about the impact God will always bring to mind. One or Two moms whose lives I have affected because I kept my butt on the train. And when he gives me the picture of just one or two moms whose lives have been changed because of this business, I realized, you know what? I can make it till the next stop. I can, I can just make it till the next stop. And that's what I want you to understand. Keep your butt on the train, keep plugging away, because you don't know at the very next stop, that perfect client could come on board, or 20 of those perfect clients could come on board. An amazing business opportunity could come on board. And you, if you get off, you will miss it. God doesn't open up the treasure troves to people who give up on themselves and on the opportunity. God opens up his storehouse for those people who are persistent enough to operate in faith and keep going when they don't feel like they can go another day, but they keep on the train. Remember why you started. Was it to have, Was it to get likes, Was it to get money? Was it to get a platform? Because that's not enough. But I believe you're here because you were here to change nations. You're here to change impact lives. You're here to help people break out of bondage. You're here whether it's bondage of debt, bondage of emotional turmoil, bondage of depression, bondage of physical disability, or compromises in their health, or break out of bondage, relationship bondage. I believe that's why you started this, because you saw a change and you want to bring that change to other people. There are moms, there are nations who are not going to have the change that they need in their life if you, you get off the train. So make it through the hard times. And I've always believed, like, if you want to ride with me on the private jet, and I believe that's going to happen one day, then that's only open up to the people who are willing to ride with me on the bus. Those are the people. If you're willing to get on that Greyhound bus, that dirty, nasty Greyhound bus and ride with me, because I've ridden the bus before and it ain't a pleasure cruise, let me just tell you that. But if you're willing to go through that, those are the kind of people who, you know, God will exalt them in due time. Those are the people who are going to be on the private jet. Like, I know that's happening. I totally know that's happening. Are you willing to keep at it? Are you willing to take the next step? Step? Are you willing to keep your butt on the train? Because when it gets hard, just go back. Just go back. Just go back. Don't go forward and look at why am I not getting that yet? Why am I not getting that yet? Why am I not making the big checks yet? Why am I not getting stage recognition yet? Why am I not seeing this happen in my life? Don't go forward. When you feel like stopping, go back. A lot of people say, well, get a clear, clear vision. But see, you had that vision already. That was why you started it. You had that vision being out of debt, of being emotionally strong and free, of having your dream home, of being able to retire without stress, of being able to put your kids through college. That dream gets so clear in that, so clear in that. Capture that reason why you started in the first place and you're going to be willing to make it to the next stop. I promise you. I love you. God bless you. And please, please remember there ain't nothing wrong with making money, honey. Are you ready to get radical results in your life?
