The Fight For Female with special guest Lisa Bevere
27 Feb 2025 · 38 min
In this episode of Hannah Keeley's podcast, host Hannah welcomes author and speaker Lisa Bevere to discuss her book The Fight for Female. The conversation moves from a critique of modern gender ideology and feminist narratives to a theological reclaiming of women’s divine identity as co‑laborers with men in God’s creation. Lisa argues that cultural confusion has created a spiritual void that the enemy exploits, describing a "dragon" that attacks both male and female. She references biblical passages (Genesis, Paul’s letters, the story of the serpent) to illustrate how the original partnership between man and woman was intended for dominion and creative authority, which has been distorted by the fall and contemporary cultural forces. The dialogue includes personal anecdotes, prophetic visions, and warnings about totalitarian trends, while offering practical advice for mothers: engage in consistent, courageous conversations, model biblical femininity, and raise children to think critically rather than merely regurgitate. Lisa also shares a vivid dream about dragons symbolizing spiritual battles, recounts prophetic predictions from 1984 about technology, bestiality, and a coming revival, and emphasizes the need for the church to rise up and restore the feminine value. The episode ends with a call to action for listeners to read the book, apply one concrete step, and trust in the authority granted to women in Scripture.

All right, guys. Sometimes you hear a voice out there in the wilderness and you're like, yes, thank you for speaking out about this, because I knew there had to be something more. So I am so grateful. If you are listening or watching to this right now, just get ready, because you're about to hear a message that's going to not just shake you, but I think create so much revelation on how God is moving today. Like, we can't go along with this just fluid culture. There comes a time when God wants us to show up, show out, and show the world who we really are. And so I'm so grateful. Today I have one of my dear friends, Lisa Bevere, talking about what it means to fight for female. Yeah, I thank you so much for being with me today on this podcast.
Absolutely. I'm so glad it worked out well. And, you know, most people think when I say fight for female, they think I'm talking about the fight for female rights, but I'm not. I'm actually fighting to recover our divine identity. It's like it's gotten so muddied. It's gotten so lost out there in the culture. Whether it's the voice of the feminist or whether it is men saying, well, men can be women or women, you know, like, whatever's. Or whatever's going on. There has been so much confusion and so much lack of clarity. And, you know, I was on a podcast earlier today, and we were talking about how so much of the church is self censoring. They're like, I'm not gonna. I don't want to say anything. Gosh, 2020 was a nightmare. I don't want to say anything because everything I said got attacked. So I'll say nothing. And by saying nothing, they've left a void for nonsense. Even when I was writing the book, my publisher, God bless them, they sent my book out to a sensitivity readers, actually readers, and they came back and they're like, we are offended by her use of the word nonsense.

They came back and they're like, we are offended by her use of the word nonsense. I was like, okay, what? I. I know. I said, well, there's common.
Explain that to me.
Yeah, there's common sense and then there's nonsense. And they were like, that sounds condescending. And I. And so it's just this crazy manipulation of the language, manipulation of thought, the manipulation of everybody has to be careful. They can't say anything. And, you know, it's so crazy when I'm reading through scriptures and I know it was talking about Paul saying to the church, everything should be done decently, in order. Don't have people over here prophesying, it's speaking in tongues with somebody that has no idea what's going on. Comes in, they're going to be like, y' all are crazy. But he also makes this point. He said, if a trumpet gives an uncertain sound, how will people know what is happening? And I feel like we have had a. A famine of clarion voices. We have the angry voices and we have the affirming, but we have a. A famine of clarion, of people saying, this is actually what's happening. It's not the Democrats. It's not the progressives. It is a dragon. It is a dragon that hates male and female. Why does it hate male and female? It hates God. So it create. It hates those created in the image of God. And it specifically hates women because women, we actually carry life. And then, Hannah, I don't. I don't know if you've witnessed this, but I. I've. I've been shocked. I've been shocked. Okay. And I don't know if people are just scared when I get on this stage and I get all loud and in charge of. They're like, we're not answering any question that she asks. Us. So I will ask the audience. I will say, if God puts enmity between the woman and the serpent, whose side did God put the woman on? And they will all just look at me. I'll say, okay, let me help you. Enmity is irreconcilable hostility that the longer it exists, the greater it grows. Like, it's not just hatred. It is something that.
It's like a small thing that. Yes, okay, It's.
It's actually. It's actually one of the Hebrew symbols for the beginning of time. It was a line with a hand going up and a hand going down. And it was called enmity, which would mean they're both in motion in opposite directions, so going. Going further and further and further apart. And so I say, all right, if God is good, right, and the serpent is bad, and there's only good and bad, whose side did God put the woman on? And then they just still look at me, and I say, okay, God says, I'm going to put enmity between the woman and her seed. Her seed being Jesus. Is Jesus on God's side? Oh, yes. I mean, it's like women are so exited from their value in this equation. They're so exited from their awareness that their spiritual attack. They are so exited from the idea that there has been a strategic alliance between darkness and the daughters for a really long time. Mastermind by the feminists, but even go deeper. The dragon.
Yeah, well, if. If Satan can keep us ignorant, he can do anything he wants. And that's his goal, is to, like, make it so docile, make it so under the radar that we don't realize we're sucked up into this way of thinking that robs us of our birthright. This is so amazing, Lisa. Literally a few hours ago, I was having lunch with my daughter, and I was like, isn't it amazing that our first mandate, after we were blessed, he said. He said. He blessed man. And then he said, go, be fruitful, multiply. Go replenish the earth. Have to make. So that first mandate is to go and be creative. And look at what the enemy does to women who are the vessels of creation. Robs them of this power and this authority to be creative in this spiritual domain. Like, we're robbed, and we don't even know. We don't even know we've been robbed. House.
I mean, here's. Here's the thing, and that's. I love that you brought that up, because so many people forget that the Genesis mandate is still in effect, that God said, be fruitful, multiply and then he said, have dominion. And dominion is to exercise authority on behalf of. On behalf of your children, on behalf of creating order out of. Out of the chaos, on the. On behalf of causing the earth to bring forth. So then the fall happens and order becomes disorder and chaos. Multiplication becomes division. And then we have this chaos between the man and the woman. They're no longer a power union, they're a power struggle. And. And then we've got, you know, the parents and the children at odds. We have the brother to brother. We see a murder. We see all this stuff going. We see the male oppression of the women. Whereas God had began with. He gave Adam and Eve dominion over everything but each other.
Right, right. But each other that they're partners. There's a part.
They were co laborers. And the original Hebrew is Ish and Isha. Ish and Isha. Their names were so similar that their names reflected their intimacy.
And.
And in the book, I try to describe it as two sides of the same coin. Now, I'm not a coin collector, but I. I do know this. If you present a coin to that one side of it is perfect and the other side of it is scraped up and marred. The entire coin is devalued. Even the one side is perfect. If one side is pristine and the other side is defaced, it is devalued. When God comes looking at us, he looks at both the man and the woman. He and you and I have seen. I mean, like my husband and I have been married for 42 years. We just celebrated our anniversary this month. And we have seen so many couples not love each other well. We have seen so many women and men see each other as competitors instead of. We are committed to bringing the best out in each other, not besting each other. And so when a woman comes alongside the man, it was God who said, it's not good for the man to be alone. So the woman was an afterthought. She was a necessity. And people need to understand that she wasn't a slave. She was. It is not good. Then it became so very, very good. Not it's very, very good if she's subservient. It's not very, very good if she's dominant. It's not very, very good if he's the boss of her world or she's the boss, but very, very good together. A reflective union to glorify God. And then we see what happens. And. And I don't even know if I should say this because it's probably just going to get you in trouble. But I have a sweet group of women that had me come and visit their Bible study. They've been, they've been watching my podcast as a Bible study, which I'm like, that's got to be wild. And so they asked me some different questions and I said to them, do you know that God actually only kicked the man out of the garden? And they're like, what? And I said, it says now, lest the man put forth his hand and eat from the tree of life. And it says so the man. So God kicked the man out of the garden to work the earth he was taken from. And it keeps going, he, he, he. But there is a. In the mid rash and in the history, God told the woman, your desire is going to be for your husband and he will rule over you. Meaning your desire is not going to be for me, it's going to be for him. And you're going to leave the garden. Now, there are books of the Bible that are not canonized that tell the story of Adam and Eve and how Adam left and then Eve chose to follow. And so it's very interesting, like even in some of the Hebrew writings, they're like, eve, why did you leave the garden of God? Because she chose to. And so there's something that she knew that she had a divine assignment to multiply what was on his life. You know, there's even in. Again, I'm just going sideways on this, but I've always been so curious why Satan would tempt Jesus to throw himself off a cliff, right? And he says, oh yeah, God will catch you with the angels. Well, I was like, okay, that was kind of random. Well, in the book of Adam, Adam is so depressed about being kicked out of the garden, he does try to kill himself. And God actually rescues him and says, you cannot redeem your own, your own choices. There will be another that was. That will redeem. So there's like, so every area that the first Adam failed Jesus, the second Adam passed the test. So about making stones into bread, about casting yourself down, about bowing down to get the rulership. I will serve no other God. He said, it is written. Is written. Which is what Adam and Eve should have said to the serpent in the beginning, right from religious leaders is woman shouldn't have a voice. Well, the man was there and he could have said, he never said, he never said that. What he said, like Eve, he didn't say, if we touched it, we die. He said not to eat it. And it is written, there is no good outside of God. We're already created in the image of God. We do not need to eat that to be like God. We're already like God, but there's always that, that nature in us to want to be our own gods, which is what we're seeing translate into the culture right now. That is where we have an entire generation saying, God made a mistake in my formation.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I'm going to.
I gotta make myself. Yeah, yeah. I've got to have authority. That is amazing. Literally, exactly what we were just talking about today, about the ultimate sin, is deciding that we're going to be like God.
Yeah. It's very Luciferian. And people don't. People do. People don't understand. I don't even have people say, what do you mean Luciferian? I'm like Lucifer before Satan. He was like, I will ascend. I will be like the most high. I will elevate myself. I will be my own God. And. And it's. It's crazy. And again, we don't have a lot of the history, but when I was studying, when I was writing without rival, I found out the word rival means to stand on opposite sides of the same river. And so Satan, or Lucifer, because he was the star of the morning, Lucifer walked in the presence of God, he was flawless. He was an anointed cherubim. Now, it's funny, we've got cherubims like fat little angel. Angel babies. No, he was an anointed cherubiman. Some accounts in the Hebrew say seraphim, but he was an anointed cherubiman. He was mighty. He was perfect. He had the vocal capacity of worship in a way that we would not even be. He was musical and encrusted with jewels.
Yeah.
But he became familiar with the presence of God. And it's interesting. We can go from a place of.
Worship, that awe, he lost that worship.
To a place of admiration to a place of familiarity. And we, we, we as a nation are on that precipice of, I can be my own God.
Yeah. That's the root of everything.
Yeah.
We're seeing such a breakdown in culture, which always leads to anxiety, overwhelm, depression, suicidal tendencies. You see it break down, but people aren't seeing that. It's so benign, it's so, like, exalted, it's so received that a voice like yours, and I think a voice like, like mine, like those women who are like, wait a minute, we're losing our power, we're losing our authority because we're allowing the enemy to leech it away. And as a mother of, I mean, I have seven kids and four of those are women. And teaching them how to be a woman today is challenge. Like, what would you say to moms? We're seeing, like, everything's allowed, everything is fluid, everything is your choice. You're your own God. How do we parent today?
Yeah. And that, that is the, that is the question that I'm. I'm really hoping to actually answer with my book because I think we have a lot of people telling us, well, it's wrong, but they're not telling us the why it's wrong spiritually or, or how to bring a wholeness to people. Like, we can tell people they're wrong all day long, but if we do not connect them with the one who makes things right, they'll just keep going to an unfaithful stream because they're thirsty. So we have to bring them to the one who will satisfy our thirst. Like the woman at the well. We have to bring them to that one. And so when I wrote the book, I don't know if you've even had a chance to read it, I opened it up with a dream, a dream that I'd had of women partnering with dragons, which was bizarre. I mean, I've had scary dreams about T. Rexes chasing me, but I have never dreamed about a dragon and I've never dreamed about baby dragons and I've never dreamed about rainbow colored, like emerald and ruby and sapphire and citron colored dragons with little tiny ones with being held close to women's chest and they're dressed in children's clothing. It was the most bizarre dream. 2016. 2016. I mean, I was like, what is this dream? And in my dream, I don't know if you've ever had a dream like this where you're trying to talk to people and they're looking over you, looking beyond you. Like, they wouldn't look at me. They're like, she doesn't get it. They looked over to the people behind me like, she doesn't understand. We have an understanding. I was like, no, no. There is no agreement between daughters and dragons. And at the end of the dream, a woman thrust her dragon my way and said, here, hold it. And I reach out, grab the dragon by the neck and I snap its neck. And I wake up and I'm on my back, my arms are flying. I'm like, what just happened? So, So I write the whole thing down. It was that bizarre, it was that crazy, it was that physical. And I thought, I, I need to send this to people that, that know crazy dreams. And so I, I sent it to a group of. I had heard there was this particular guy that was good at, at dream interpretation. I sent it to him. He was like, I've got nothing. So I, right after that, I went.
You'Re gonna have to, you're gonna have.
To let I know. I was like, well, no. So, so right after that, I went to a particular church that at the time was very, I would say, in bed with the world, right? And I actually preached a message. I said, you are called to be bedside, and yet you are in bed with the world. And I said, when you are bedside, you're bringing healing. And when you're in bed with, you are, you are partnering with sin. And I said, you are taking selfies with celebrities when acting like they have something to give you when you are the one. And so I thought I snapped the dragon's net. So in my mind, I was like, I snapped it. I snapped it. I was br, I snapped it. That was 2016. Then 2020 happens. And I kind of, well, I kind of listened to this podcast where Megan Kelly was introducing or interviewing Abigail Shrier. And Abigail sh was talking about this rapid gender dysphoria that these young girls were thinking, oh, my gosh, I, I, I, I'm uncomfortable in my body. They're having the breast removed. They're taking testosterone, and they're. And I'm like, wait, wait, what's, what's going on with girls, like, doing that? And, and then, you know, I, I, I order her book, Irreversible Damage, and I'm like, looking at her stats and she says, it all goes back to this, the phone. And I'm, I'm, you know, reading the stats and I'm listening to it, and then I'm remembering a conversation. And this is crazy. When John And I were 24 and 25, this man who was a missionary to the Philippines took us out to breakfast. And he said, I see, I, I see the hand of God on the two of you now. I was working for Eli Lilly Pharmaceuticals at the time. John was, John had quit his engineering job and was working at a church. But I would not have seen what he saw. I was like, you know, he said, I'm going to tell you some things I've seen in the future. And we said, okay. He said, he, he said, I see a spirit of homosexuality attacking the men in the United States of America. And it will come to the place where men are marrying each other. So 1984, I thought, 1984. Yeah. I thought, he's. That's not going to happen. And he said, I see a spirit of rebellion attacking the American families, and it's going to separate the children from the parents. And I thought, biblical.
Like we.
Yeah. And then he said, okay, this one's really troubling. He said, I'm going to see people. I see people will start having sex with animals. And I was like, ew. Well, I don't know if you know this. While I was writing the book, Bestiality just got renamed to Zilia by a Princeton professor of bioethics. I know in the back of my book, you have never seen so much research where I had to. Yeah. I mean, and I had.
You're walking down this road as you're writing this book, and you're like, what.
I'm remembering from 1984. And then he said, I see a day coming. 1984. Well, people's lives will be controlled by a box they hold in their hands. And John And I, again, 1984, we saw boxes like. We saw boxes like containers. This is what you put gifts in. Phones were attached to walls or on desks. They were never in your hands. And. And, like, he must have seen the. The confusion on our face. And then he said. He said two other things. And. And then he said, but I see at the end of all of this, the last thing was the bestiality and the boxes. He said, then I see a revival coming to the United States of America like never before. So every single thing he said has already happened.
Okay, so now revival.
Yeah. Revival. Revival time. It's revival.
And I do believe, Lisa, that there are going to be people that are choosing to be God over their lives, and the results of that are going to be so painful that they will need salvation. They will need rescue from the results of their choices. And guess who needs to show up? Not the government, not even the church organization, not education, not even business, but the body of Christ, the church. The people need to be ready to be the rescuers when these people get to the end of their rope and it's like, nothing has worked for me.
It's like, well, we've been lied to. Yeah. They're going to wake up and realize they were lied to.
Yeah.
I. In. In the chapter called the Fight for Lost and Found, I had such an awareness where the scripture talks about where, you know, God is. Sorry about that. Where God is preparing a banquet. And we know that banquet could be two things. It could be the marriage supple of the lamb, but it also is his goodness. It's his salvation. And we keep, we keep inviting the busy. And God's like, could you, could you please invite the broken everyone?
I go, yeah, byway, everywhere.
Well, and so when he says highway, byways. When I read it this time, I thought, it's the Internet. It's the Internet. The people that have wandered the path of the Internet looking for wholeness. Maybe, maybe I'm the wrong gender. Maybe I'm this. Maybe my identity is my sexuality. Maybe it's this. Maybe I need to divorce my husband. Maybe I need to divorce my wife. Maybe I. Oh, I just want, you know, I don't know if this happens to you. I was on Pinterest and somehow I went down a rabbit hole of the worst plastic surgery nightmares where people have totally like, you're looking at them, you're like, what did you think you were doing? This was okay. I wear like a. One woman had cheekbones like out to here. And she like, has distorted herself where she cannot even recognize herself. And this is what's happening. The enemy is distorting the image of God. He is saying, you're not lovely enough. You're not beautiful enough, you're not strong enough, you're not sexual enough. You're not this enough. You're not enough. You need to actually do this. And the truth is, none of us are enough outside of Christ. I mean, like, here's the, here's the truth on all of this. And. And the enemy is like, no, no, if you do this, then you will be made whole. And he just watches. And I think he laughs as, oh, young men have their penises cut off, girls have their breasts cut off and their uterus removed. And he's just laughing. Don't create. You'll never have children and date. And women say that abortion is health care. I mean, I don't know if you're watching this. The lies, the lies. And I'm just going to say this. It is a lie that if you get pregnant and you have a miscarriage, that you cannot have a dnc. That is a lie. There is no state that forbids women from having necessary medical care. And they took the, they took the case in Georgia where the woman went and got the, the abortion pill and she actually did not pass all of. She had twins, did not pass all of the infants bodies, and then she went septic. And they said that was because she didn't get abortion care. And I'm like, no, that the abortion pill was causing the problem.
So it's just like I was getting blood work done and the intake form listed how many pregnancies I'd had. Live births, and then abortions. Now I've three miscarriages. Yeah. Oh, that would be. I was like, no, I'm not gonna mark that.
No, they call it, they call it a spontaneous abortion.
No, no, that is not. I'm gonna, I'm not gonna receive that title over what happened in my body. That was not my choice. And I just think where we start to say, oh, everything's okay, it's all right. It's just your choices and you have the power to make those choices. Not realizing we're actually robbing women of the power to stand behind their choices. And it's hard raising up young women today to stand firm in who they are. And that in that divine identity of being a woman is so the privilege of carrying life. Privilege.
Oh, I mean, okay, I have, I don't know how many books I've written. I don't know how many.
I love that.
First of all, I don't, I don't know how many speaking engagements I do per year. I have one book that's a New York Times. Do you know what I'm the most proud of? What? None of that. I am the most proud of my sons.
Your boys. Your boys.
I, I, it. And I love my husband and I'm proud of him, but I'm not the most proud of him. I'm the most proud of my children. I'm. And I, and, and I will say I have probably made the most mistakes with both of those, with my husband and my children.
Thank you, Jesus.
Yes. But in spite of me that I have two of my sons live down the street from me. Six of the grandkids live within a 30 second bike ride. So in spite of my failures, my flaws, our family is still connected. And, and what the enemy hates is family. Somehow we seem to think that God is a pastor. God is not a pastor. He is a father. And he cares about children and he cares about women. And, and I don't know where we got this idea that we should either silence the women in the church or sexualize them in the culture. This is kind of the tension silenced in the church, sexualized in the culture. Very narrow pathway. And the more women, more women need to find their voice, and they need to find their voice as women. Like, and I've been saying this for years, and like, women acting like men is not a position of power any more than men acting like women is a position of Power. It always looks odd.
Always, always, always. We're dressing in a way that does not fit who we are. We're trying to assume an identity because we're seeking something outside of that identity and we don't even know who we are. Like, if there was one piece of advice that you could give moms today, because mostly, you know, their moms here watching, listening. What do we do in this place? How do we handle this cultural. Like, we know revival is coming. How do we ourselves for it?
Sure. Well, I'm going to tell you a little story to set that up. I spoke at a cultural summit recently, and the other speaker was. There was a number of speakers, but one of the speakers was a Belgian professor of totalitarianism and statistician, and he is a psychoanalyst. And he was telling how his country has kind of gone over the abyss. And so he's talking about the. The reign of totalitarianism, which would be, you don't have the right to speak, you don't have the right to think different. You don't have the right to believe different. And so we're listening to him and I'm like, what do we do? And he said, well, violence and protests justify the need for totalitarianism. They're like, we got to shut them down. So I said, okay, so what do we do? And he said, and this is what your mamas need to do. He said, consistent, courageous, clear conversations. And when he said that to me, I thought, that is how the church was built in the book of Acts, from house to house together. And we've lost that art.
We've lost it. Even Jesus said, behold, I stand at the door and knock. If you open the door, guess what? I'm just going to eat with you. We're going to have.
I'm going to sit with you.
I'm not going to preach to you. I'm not going to come down on you. I'm not going to give you what my law is. I'm going to sit with. Sit with you and have a conversation. And we've forgotten that.
How I think we need to re. Rebuild the feminine value.
Yes.
Rebuild the fact that it is God given. Yes. Rebuild the beauty of it. We need to remind women that children are not a hindrance. They're not an obstacle to your career path or your success. That. That marriage is a wonderful experience. It's refining, but it's wonderful. We need to empower women back to have a voice, that their voice matters, that there are things for the women to speak to and There are things for the men to speak to. And when the women are yelling at the men and the men are yelling at the women, the enemy is not being spoken to. And so we need to repent as women first and foremost. I know that nobody's happy about me saying that. Repent of listening to the lies that the feminists that told us if we wanted to be powerful as women, we needed to act like men. Because right now we have men acting like women. And the feminists are quiet about it because they're okay with it, because it deconstructs the family. And so there is this idea of why are men doing this? I don't like it. Well, we've been acting like them. And they're like, you guys don't want to be girls. Okay, we'll be girls. And it's again, it's a perversion. So we need to talk to our daughters. My grandkids will ask me questions. They will say things. One of my granddaughters said, do you know Sarah? And my neighborhood is now Sam? And I said, I didn't. And she's seven. And I said, she said, yeah, she, she cut her hair and she's going to go to a new school. And I said, okay. I said, well, what if G mama puts on a giraffe outfit and say I'm a giraffe, does that make me a giraffe? And she kind of looks at me and it was a wrong animal choice. I'll just own it. She said, you're too short to be a giraffe. And I said, well, I identify as a short giraffe. And she said, that's silly. And I said, you're right. And I said, so is she a boy because she cut her hair. And she said, no. I said, no, no. Why not? And she said, she's not. And I said, no, I need you to tell me why is she not a boy? And she said, her bottom. But see, she needed to talk it through. So that was a 7 year old. Then I had my 13 year old daughter, granddaughter bring up the same situation. Actually was 12 at the time. Bring up the same situation. And she's, she's been debriefing it with me. And she said, I knocked on her door and I said, can, you know, can Sarah play? And her dad was like, that's not his name, his name is Sam. And slammed the door in my face. And she said, I'm so confused because I thought she was gender fluid. So I thought she could be both. And I just paused and I Said, what is. Tell me what's going on in her household right now? She said, what do you mean? I said, what's going. Are her parents together? And she said, no, they just got divorced. And then I told her, I said, you know, baby girl, When I was 13, my parents got divorced. And I said I was awkward, and I used to wear overalls to hide the fact that I didn't have breasts, that I wasn't developing, that I was scrawny. And I said, if somebody would have come to me at that stage in my life and said, you're probably the wrong gender, I would have said, everything else in my life is wrong. Yeah, you're probably right. And I said, she is hurting. She is hurting. She wants attention, and she's hoping to find belonging somewhere outside of her home. And so we need to have compassionate but clear conversations. I didn't say, well, then she really is a. A boy. I said, let's go to what she's looking for. Let's go to the pain. And then having. Having. We have so many great resources to be able to show our children things that they can watch and we can interact. So our children need to be trained on how to think.
So how to think true. How to think.
Not. Not being told what to think.
Right. Because a lot of the school system is taught, like, no, just regurgitate this. To me.
Yes. They're like, if you don't think this, you hate.
Right, Right.
Yeah. And I'm thinking, I don't know when we talked last. So I might not have had my Italian citizenship when we talked last, but I have dual citizenship. And I am not fluid in the language, but I am actually pretty versed in Italy's history. And it's interesting, and I don't think people understand that what we're in right now is something that already has been in. We all know about Nero. Nero was the horrible, cruel emperor. And most Christians will tell you he martyred Christians in the Coliseum, which is not accurate because the Coliseum, which is actually the Flavian amphitheater, didn't even exist in his day. He martyred them in something called the Circus Maximus. And the Circus Maximus held 150,000 people. And he started to kill the Christians because he said they had set 10 of the 14 districts in Rome on fire. But it said he continued to kill them because they hated humanity. And what are we accused of now if we don't agree? It's always an accusation of hate, and then what? People also don't know this. Nero's first wife Was Octavia. She was a marriage of political alliance. Then he falsely accused her of adultery and had her executed. Second wife was somebody named Sabina. That was his mistress. Different, different stories in history. One story says that he kicked her to death while she was pregnant. Third wife was a 16 year old boy that he castrated and dressed up as a woman and called Sabina. The same spirit is always present right before the fall of a culture. And we are on this precipice, on the brink.
We are on the brink seeing it.
Absolutely. But what stopped the rise of the Roman Empire was the rise of the Christians.
Let's go. It's time for Christians to rise up. And I believe that, like I know that God has given me a mandate to reach moms because I believe if we can reach moms, we can reach a family and we can reach the world. So it is time for moms in their divine find authority as women to rise up, find your voice and speak out. And I want to give another. If you have not picked up Lisa's book, the Fight for female do not let another day pass. You have got to get this not just to, to rise up and be who you were designed to be as a woman, but to find out like I believe what you're doing, Lisa, you are taking the scales off people's eyes. So thank you for your boldness. Thank you for your courage. Thank you for your voice and saying, here I am, Lord, send me. Thank you so much for what you're doing for women.
Oh, it's an incredible honor. And I did at every end of every chapter, I don't know if you notice, I said, what is one thing?
The work.
Because it feels overwhelming. What is one thing you can do?
Yeah, it's simple. One thing, guys, in this, in this book, like, first of all, beautifully written, wonderful stories. Just one thing to apply. You don't have to figure this out. You're not alone and we don't have to be scared. It says in Proverbs 31 that she laughs at the days to come. We have authority, we have power. We have a covenant with God through Jesus. So we're good. We just got to know who we are and rise up and assume that identity. So thank you so much, Lisa.
Absolutely. It's always a delight to be with you. Always.
So much fun, guys. Make sure you get this book. I know you're going to be blessed like crazy.
