In that moment. Okay, I'm out walking fits and you're walking with me. Thank you so much for hanging out with me and wanted to share something with you that I think is going to really bless you. I hope it does. Something I was thinking about the other day because as a woman who has struggled and is overcoming, because I believe it's a daily process, sometimes fear and lack and poverty. I believe that there are a lot of moms who we limit ourselves and we change our belief system from when we were younger. See, when we were younger, it was always like, why not as we get older, it becomes, well, why then? That doesn't make sense. When we're younger, it's like, I want it all. When we're older, we're like, oh, no, that's okay. I don't need anything. We tend to make our mindset so much smaller, and as a result, we stop spoiling ourselves. And I want to tell you what I mean by that. And I think one of the best ways is share a story. Because my daughter came in to the kitchen about a week ago. She said, mom, I have this much money saved up, and when I get it, I want to buy a Lululemon workout bra. And immediately in my. My gut reaction now, remember, we're. I'm overcoming this is to think, like, why Lululemon? When, like, you can go to TJ Maxx and like, get a Nike one or go to, you know, Target and get. Get one that is just as good and probably like a fourth of the price. That's. That's initially what I think, but I stopped myself, thank goodness, before I said anything, because I had to put myself through a filter. Is this coming from a lack mentality or an abundant mentality? And before I. Because, like 10 years ago, yeah, it would have been like, that's stupid. You don't need that. Like, you can get four bras for that price at this store. You know, just I would shoot it down, right? But I have to put a filter over my thoughts as I have become more of an abundant thinker, more with, you know, letting the lack and the scarcity go out of my life. And it wasn't until I actually let lack and scarcity thinking go that I started to get more financial wealth in my life. It was it. That's how it works. As long as you're thinking lack and scarcity, that's all you're going to live, is lack and scarcity. When I started overcoming that and thinking with an abundant mindset that there's no shortage in this world, you know, God's not limited in any way and neither are my resources. When I started changing this mindset around, that's when my finances started changing and wealth started coming into my life. But going back to this moment, sometimes I still have to check my first gut instinct because I spent so many years thinking lack and thinking scarcity and thanking limitation that I have to check myself. And I checked myself, like I said. And I was like, okay, is this coming from an abundant mentality or a scarcity mentality? And I immediately recognized, you know what? This is scarcity. Why not? Why not a Lululemon bra? Yeah, sure, it's probably like, what, like an exorbitant amount, but why not? Why not the best? Why not spoil yourself? So I was like, girl, I love that idea. Absolutely. Like, yeah, I love that idea. Let me know, we'll go shopping together.

So why I'm sharing this with you is, as moms, we get this totem pole mentality where we put ourselves last and we start to limit, not just in our mindset, but we start to limit what we will allow ourselves to enjoy. And this scarcity mentality, this lack mentality, not only damages us, but it limits our children as well. And there was a time when you were younger when you didn't know limitations. I hope so. I hope you didn't know limitations. I hope you were like, you know what? I can do anything. I can be anything. I can have anything because that's the spirit of God. In you see, God's not limited. Therefore, as a child of God, neither are you. But we limit ourselves. We stop spoiling ourselves. We get so consumed with scratching and clawing to just get by that we forget that we are a treasure and that we are worthy of being spoiled. Whether it's a Lulu lemon bra or Starbucks coffee or just a long hot bubble bath, we forget about spoiling ourselves. And I could talk about self care all day, but this attitude, it takes it a little further. This attitude of I'm worthy of being spoiled like I'm a princess, I'm a daughter of the most high God. I was here, I put here on this earth to take authority, to take dominion. He said the abundance of the earth he's given unto into man's control. So why not? Why am I limiting myself? Why do I discredit myself? And why is it now I'm talking to you, Mama. Listen, why is it when I do spoil myself, why do I feel guilty afterwards? Oh, I dealt with that forever. Oh, years and years and years dealt with that. If I ever bought anything for myself or any indulged in, you know, taking a little time for me, I would immediately feel so guilty about it. Is of course that takes all the joy of the spoiling away, right? I want to challenge you. This is my personal challenge to you today. Man Fizz is walking fast. My personal challenge is spoil yourself with intention without guilt. Do you think you can do that? I'm going to tell you one more time. Spoil yourself with intention and without guilt. And I know that's probably one of the most challenging things you could do today. I mean, you guys know me. It probably wouldn't be any challenge at all for me to tell you, hey, you know what? Just today, set a timer, spend five minutes, declutter your junk drawer and you'd be like, yes, absolutely, I'm on it. But this is probably going to be the most difficult challenge you could do because if you're anything like me, and I have a feeling you are, or else you wouldn't be listening to this, Mama, is that you have a tendency to put yourself last and you've limited the joy and the abundance and really the spoiling that God wants to do in your life. So I want you to be open to it because God's word says open wide your mouth and he will fill it. Open yourself up to being spoiled. Remember your challenge. Spoil yourself with intention and without guilt. And now I'm going to hold you accountable. I want to hear from you. I want you to send me a message on Facebook or a message on Instagram. DM me. Let me know what you did today to spoil yourself. And make sure you let me know that you felt zero guilt about doing it. I love you so much, Mama. I got your back. Can't wait till we talk again.
