5 Services to Offer as an AI Automations Expert in 2024

In this tutorial video, Helena Liu outlines five high‑value services that AI automation consultants can provide in 2024. She begins by introducing the demand for custom, company‑specific AI chatbots—built on platforms like Voiceflow—that can serve as 24/7 customer service, appointment setters, or internal onboarding assistants. Next, she explains autonomous AI agents that learn a brand’s tone, structure, and style to automatically generate content such as SOPs, LinkedIn posts, or video sales letters, highlighting the distinction between chatbots (information retrieval) and agents (content production). The third service covers building automations by connecting APIs through no‑code tools like Zapier or Make; she illustrates a weekly blog‑post generation workflow using OpenAI and WordPress APIs and a Shopify tracking‑code lookup automation. The fourth service focuses on creating custom GPTs for the OpenAI GPT Store, detailing how these can be trained on proprietary knowledge, linked to external APIs for real‑time data, and monetized either internally or publicly. Finally, she describes predictive AI that analyzes large historical datasets to forecast outcomes in finance, healthcare, and inventory management, positioning it as a cost‑effective alternative to expensive data‑science teams. Throughout, Helena emphasizes the business value, potential revenue streams, and calls viewers to like, subscribe, enroll in her free course, or schedule a strategy call.

Hey everyone, it's Helena here and welcome back to my YouTube channel. In today's video, I'm going to be sharing with you the 5 services that you can offer as an AI automations consultant here in 2024. If you're new to my channel, welcome. Please make sure you like, subscribe, and hit that notification bell below. All right, without further ado, let's dive right in. So the first service that you can offer as an AI automations consultant is making AI chatbots. Now, AI chatbots have been on the rise ever since ChatGPT took off about a year ago. Companies increasingly have been coming to our consulting company and saying that, can you make a custom version of ChatGPT just for our company and can help our customers and clients? So essentially, these AI chatbots are trained on all of the information within a particular company. So think of this as a custom version of ChatGPT for a specific company that's only been trained on their data, right? ChatGPT has been trained on all of the information across all of the web, but specific companies, sometimes they have information or specific procedures, refund policies, et cetera, that's specific to them that ChatGPT doesn't know about. So if you can create a custom version of that, and that AI chatbot then can either act as customer service for all of their customers 24/7, 365, or it could act as an appointment setter. This is really popular with doctors, lawyers, dental offices, chiropractors, hairdressers, as well as stores with physical shops. Also, we've seen it used internally by companies for things like employee onboarding. Whenever a new employee comes to a company, they're probably a bit too intimidated to ask a lot of questions, but if they had an AI chatbot that they can ask any question to about any of the company's processes and procedures, they're probably much more likely to use that tool to help them get onboarded. So the first service, again, that you can offer is building these AI chatbots, and our favorite platform to build these AI chatbots is Voiceflow. All right, now let's move on to our second service here. So the second service that you can offer to your clients is building an autonomous agent. Okay, so autonomous AI agent, and I know that sounds a little sci-fi, but stick with me here. So an AI agent can learn from the style, tone, structure, of a piece of work that you want to reproduce and then start reproducing more of that type of work. So for example, we have an AI agent internally for our agency for writing SOPs or standard operating procedures, and we also have one for writing LinkedIn posts. So essentially we can get this AI agent to start producing these LinkedIn posts every single day. We have fed it instructions on what we want in the LinkedIn post, the structure, the type of content. We even linked it to recent news articles so that this AI agent can automatically transfer the latest AI news into a LinkedIn post and then post it onto our LinkedIn accounts, which is pretty cool, right? So essentially a LinkedIn agent is able to learn the style, tone, structure of a body of work and then start reproducing them. For example, one of our recent clients came to us and He's been in the business for decades and he's known for writing really, really good video sales letters. So he's got thousands of copies that's specific to him. And ChatGPT doesn't know this because, you know, he's written it. It's not publicly available on the web and it's written in his tone, his style, and using his structure that converts really well. So he came to us and said, if we taught AI all of my style copy of how to write these sales letters. Can it start writing more video sales letters in my style, tone, and voice? And we said, yes, absolutely. That's what we can do. And so we created an AI agent for him to create more of these video sales letters. So just a quick word here. The difference between an AI chatbot and an AI agent is like the AI chatbot is you teach it specific sets of information. And then this AI chatbot can be queried so you can get the right information from this chatbot right away. Whereas an AI agent is producing some sort of work for you, right? So it can produce a proposal for you, it can produce a LinkedIn post for you, or it can produce like a video sales letter for you. So it's producing a specific type of work for you. So we have really seen a lot of companies starting to adopt these AI agents because it can just help them speed up their processes so much faster and increase their efficiency. All right, now let's go on to the 3rd service that you can offer as an AI automations consultant. And the 3rd one is automations. Now, in order to really understand how to create automations, you have to understand how APIs work. So essentially, whenever you go and look at the software, you have the front end of it, but there's also a back end. So the back end is where all of the APIs live and different softwares have different APIs that you can pull from its API documentation. And depending on what you could pull from those APIs, you can start doing things on automation. Let me give you 2 examples here. Let's suppose that you want to publish a blog post every single Thursday and you want AI to do this for you. So you could set a trigger for every Thursday, and then you can use the OpenAI API to get ChatGPT to write a specific blog post. And then ChatGPT will automatically write that blog post. And then you can link it to a WordPress API so that the post that ChatGPT just wrote will automatically go into your blog. Okay, so that's one example of an automation. So you can create all sorts of automations that possibilities are absolutely limitless. It just depends on whether the software you're using has the API endpoint to the other software that you're trying to connect to. So a lot of businesses don't understand how these APIs work. It's just way too technical. And you can do this actually pretty simply by just learning some no-code tools like Zapier and Make. And then you can start making these automations. And then helping these businesses streamline their operations. While it's not very hard to do to build like the blogging automation that I just said, it has immense value for a lot of businesses. Generally, businesses pay between $200 to $500 per blog post, and you can do that with an automation that works every single week. You know, just imagine the value that you bring into that company, right? Another example of an automation that we built recently was for an e-commerce store, and they want an automation where their customers can enter in their name, their email address, and be able to see the tracking code of the product that they have just purchased. What we were able to do is link the chatbot to the Shopify API, so whenever the email address is is entered, the automation is triggered, and it looks inside of the Shopify database that they have and then pull back the tracking URL for that specific customer. All right, now that you understand automations, let's move on to the 4th service that you can offer as an AI automations expert. And the 4th one is creating GPTs. So inside of OpenAI, they have recently launched the GPT Store. This can be kind of compared to the Apple App Store back in the days when they just launched. Essentially, OpenAI is allowing creators to create their own custom versions of GPT. These GPTs can be trained on specific knowledge, and it can also be connected to some APIs so that it can perform specific actions. It's still like a goldmine because not many people know about it and have created custom GPTs to be put onto the store. Now these custom GPTs can be used for internal use, and it could also be placed onto the GPT store where you can sell it for money and will split the profits with OpenAI. You can have specific knowledge that goes into this GPT. You can have specific prompts that you have written to go into these GPTs, and you can also combine it with an action. So you can combine it with an API. That can connect to an external application and pull back the data. It's important to know that ChatGPT is not real-time. ChatGPT actually gets updated only once or twice a year, which means that it doesn't have the latest information. For example, if I went onto ChatGPT and asked it, what's the latest price for the Apple stock? ChatGPT wouldn't know that because it hasn't been trained for information up to today. If you create a custom version of GPT though, you could connect it to a stock price fetching API, and then your custom GPT would know the price of Apple in real time. So I hope you're starting to see the value of creating these custom GPTs. And really the sky's the limit. There is so much possibility in terms of what you could do with this. Again, you can create this custom GPT specific for one company, so it's just used by the people who work at that company. And you could also create these GPTs and launch it onto the GPT store and start making some money. All right, now let's move on to the 5th service that you can offer as an AI automations consultant. And this one is predictive AI. So using AI to analyze large datasets so that you understand the trends analysis and potential future outcomes based on the historical data. Some examples of how this predictive AI is used is in the financial industry. So the financial industry would take a lot of the past buying behaviors of your credit card habits and spending and use this data to be able to predict whether your future transactions is a fraud or not. It's also used in the healthcare industry, so They can take large datasets on how specific patients in the past performed in their blood tests, urine, et cetera, to be able to predict whether they are at risk for certain diseases or not. So the application for predictive AI is just immense. We have executives coming to us all the time trying to make sense of what their past data say about what kind of decisions they need to make about the future. Recently, we had a store come in. And ask us to analyze their past inventory data so that they can predict what kind of products they need to buy and in how much quantity they need to buy so that they can optimize their sales for the future. Understanding data and being able to make predictions of data using AI is going to be huge because data scientists and data analysts are very expensive. And if AI can now do this work within a matter of seconds or a minute, That's going to be a huge time saver and a huge game changer for a lot of executives who need to make these important decisions based on data in very short periods of time. There you have it. Those are the 5 services that you can start offering as an AI automations consultant. I hope you enjoyed this video. Make sure you like and subscribe if you got anything out of it.
