Don't trust your heart. Don't trust your emotions. Protect your kids. Let's get started. Hi, I'm Heinnesh Chohan. Welcome to decent Divorce Dads. Today we're going to be talking about dating and waiting. Let's get started. Now, when you're newly single, you're going to hop on all those dating apps. You're going to get dates. Trust me, there's plenty of fish in the sea. But what I want you to think about is this. Do not trust your emotions. The attention you're getting and all the wonderful people you'll be meeting will make you feel a lot of positive emotions. Because really, you've gone through a lot of pain, grief and anger and now you're getting this. Do not introduce anyone to your kids for a minimum of six months and have this discussion with the mother of your children to follow the same rule. And in my situation, my ex wife and I actually agreed to doing this. We had it written in our separation agreement because it's so important. You want to provide your kids with predictability and stability. And when you're constantly introducing somebody new to your kids, that kind of disrupts that predictability and stability. So keep that in mind. Don't trust your heart. Don't trust your emotions. Protect your kids. I really hope you enjoyed that, guys. And if you did, please remember to like follow and subscribe. And if you found it was helpful, please share it.
