What's harder? Having to survive as a single parent and have all those extra stresses and challenges or working at what you already have and improving it and getting control of what is creating that conflict? Let's get started. Hi, I'm Hanish Chohan. Welcome to Decent Divorced Dads. Today we're going to be talking about how money problems are relative. Let's get started. The majority of divorces are started or are caused by issues around money. And let me tell you, if you feel you're having financial challenges or troubles in your marriage, it's going to be far more harder. After divorce, you're divorced. The cost of the divorce, the cost of a household, running a household, having all the things your kids need in each house, that takes away so much from your kids. And conflict in the marriage over money. What is it about? Is it because she gets her hair and nails done too often and enjoys shopping? Is it because you enjoy going out to the bar with your buddies and spending too much? Is it because you've got a lease on that really nice car that you want and she wants that fancy vacation every year and it creates conflict and conflict creates more conflict. What's harder? Having to survive as a single parent and have all those extra stresses and challenges or working out what you already have and improving it and getting control of what is creating that conflict? Don't look at things as disposable. We definitely live in a society that is overly disposable. The quick fix is around the corner, the grass is greener, and let me tell you, it's not. And studies show that people who divorce over the most common issues are not happier. And of course, this all has an impact on your kids. Their quality of life changes your quality of life and impact to your mental and physical health. It's all real. Take this into consideration. Think about what can be worked at and don't give up. Work at improving what you have and make decisions with integrity. I really hope you enjoyed that, guys. And if you did, please remember to like, follow and subscribe.
