Picture this, you have to get them to before care, they go to school and you have to pick them up from after care. Get home, feed them, bathe them, do homework, get them in bed. Let's get started. Hi, I'm Mahinish Chauhan. This is decent divorce dads. Today we're going to be talking about young kids in before and after care. Let's get started. Now, when you're together, the simplicity of life because you've got parents that can tag team the responsibilities is great. But when you're alone, and this is what I want you to consider before heading into separation or divorce is the impact on your kids when you're the only one taking them to school and bringing them back and having to work a job. So picture this. You have to get them to before care, they go to school and you have to pick them up from after care, get home, feed them, bathe them, do homework, get them in bed, do your work. What's important to you, along with clearing the snow, cutting the lawn, cleaning, prepping for the next day, it's a lot. Now your kids have just spent probably about 10 days, or rather 10 hours without you in school. And what I really want to get across is the challenges of finding that care. As a parent that's got partial custody of your children, no one does part time before after care that doesn't exist. You may find a sitter and you may get kicked out of that program because you don't get there on time because your commute impacted you. And I remember facing this, in my experience, stressed to hell, stuck on the bus in traffic because of an accident and worrying about I've got no one else to support me and get the kids, I'm alone and what happens if I get kicked out of the program? These are all things that complicate your life. So think of them, consider it and make decisions with integrity. I really hope you enjoyed that, guys. And if you did, please remember to like follow and subscribe. And if you found it was helpful, please share it.
