Short YouTube segment from 'Decent Divorced Dads' (host Hinesh Chauhan and another speaker) about the importance of creating structure and planning after divorce. The speakers advise against aimless wandering in pain and recommend making flexible plans that produce small, tangible wins: meal planning/prep, exercise routines, activities and inexpensive outings with children, organizing the home, and removing an ex's items. Emphasis is on creating direction, celebrating small wins, and treating plans as adaptable.
Deep inside of us, we're children. And like children, we need structure and direction. So you need to create that for yourself.
Let's get started. Hi guys, I'm Hennis Chohan. Welcome to Decent Divorced Dads. Today we're going to be talking about a plan.
Planning, making plans.
Let's get started.
Now you're facing hurt, pain, anger, surprise, disappointment. Because your entire life plan just went up in smoke. Don't wander around aimlessly in that pain and chaos. Deep inside of us, we're children. And like children, we need structure and direction. So you need to create that for yourself and create it in a way that you can have small wins. Make a new plan. Plans are meant to change. Plan for meals. Plan for exercise. Plan activities and adventures with your kids and celebrate with those wins. Celebrate the fact that you made a meal plan that you mass produced a healthy meal and you took that for lunch for five days. Celebrate the fact that you took your kids out to the park. It doesn't have to be a paid for activity, just do it. Plan to organize items in your house. Plan to get rid of your ex's items in your house. But plan. Make plans. Have tangible, winable goals. Make it happen. Celebrate those wins.
I really hope you enjoyed that guys. And if you did, please remember to like follow and subscribe. And if you found it was helpful, please share it.
