The formal diagnosis of depression, anxiety and everything that hit me and weighed me down, I wasn't functioning. Let's get started. Hi, I'm Hinesh Chohan. Welcome to Decent Divorced Dads. Today we're going to be talking about mental resiliency. Let's get started. I had a hard time with this. And with a formal diagnosis of depression, anxiety and everything that hit me and weighed me down, I wasn't functioning. And medication doesn't help. After a certain point, it's the internal drive to get off your ass and do something and to get those healthy hormones by activity and to create that mental resiliency. You need to create physical resiliency. And you do that by pushing yourself. Get your heart rate up, get outside. And here's a fact for you, four minutes of wind sprints is better than a 30 minute jog. Four minutes, that's all you need to do. Push yourself to do that. Despite trauma, anguish, any sort of pain you have, you'll still feel that pain, the anger. But you'll be more resilient. You'll be able to work through it. You'll be able to survive. Get outside and connect with others. Connection's key. Vent. But above all else, have hope and know the future's brighter. I really hope you enjoyed that, guys. And if you did, please remember to like, follow and subscribe. And if you found it was helpful, please share it.
