Hinesh Chauhan offers practical relationship advice to prevent divorce by improving communication between partners. He urges couples to regularly (ideally weekly, at minimum monthly) ask three specific questions—what to keep, stop, and start doing—to open dialogue, process feedback, and avoid becoming part of divorce statistics. He recommends holding this conversation on a Saturday morning and letting partners process before responding.

Now for the rest of you, you don't want to be part of or part of that 70% that's initiating divorce. You don't want to be the other 30% that's receiving that surprise. But really both sides, it's 100% either way you look at it because there's two parties. Don't be a statistic. If you're still married, if you've got children, even if you don't have children, how can you ensure that, that things are not deteriorating? How do you open up the dialogue? How, how, how, how many books are on this out there and why is it still so prevalent? How are divorce rates climbing when there's so much content and information out there? When you go back and look at trends in society, that's. I could go into many rabbit holes, holes for that. But for the interim, why not just sit down and ask your partner three questions. What's something I'm saying or doing that you want me to keep doing? What's something I'm saying or doing that you want me to stop doing? What's something I'm saying or doing that you want me to start doing? And have this on a semi regular basis. I recommend at least once a month, ideally once a week, and have it on a Saturday morning. Ask these questions on a Saturday morning so that she's got time. Actually women are faster than the feed and she'll be able to tell you because it's probably right there. But for us, for whatever said to us, guys need to process it because our instinct is I can fix it or be defensive. You want to process it and understand the impact of whatever, whatever it is you are or are not doing and then be able to come back and talk about it over the day. And I'm sure it'll lead to something good at the end of that day if you play this well. But ultimately ask the questions so you can start having the conversation so you don't end up being a statistic.
