How often do you actually stop and celebrate your wins instead of just looking at what you're missing or what you have to do or should have done? Stop that. Stop and focus on your wins. What did you do today that was positive that you're proud of? Let's get started. Hi, I'm Hanesh Chohan. This is decent divorce dads. Today we're going to be talking about compassion. Let's get started. Now, the Dalai Lama has said the world would be a much better place if there was more love, patience and compassion. That applies not just to putting that out to others, but but to giving that to ourselves. You, we need to be kinder to ourselves. I'm very guilty of this. I need to have more compassion for myself. And this comes up in many ways. You think you'll be able to get all these things done in a day or you hope to and you don't. And so you come down hard on yourself as if you failed or you made a mistake and snapped at your child. It's okay. Take a moment to just take a breath. Understand that being a grown up's hard. Apologize to your child. Explain yourself. Be vulnerable, be open, be transparent with everybody so they understand what you're going through. Being a grown up is hard. We don't get a manual on how to be a grownup, what to do as a husband, how to be a parent. We're learning this as we go. The need to be more compassionate with ourselves will allow us to grow, to heal and to be able to do more of what we want because that kindness is important. And when we're compassionate with ourselves, that means we're not blaming ourselves, we're catching ourselves. Were taking that time to realize, wow, I had a hard day. I wasn't able to do what I had hoped to do or I had some emotional bursts. Give yourself a timeout. Have a day to recuperate. Call in sick. Call in sick for half a day. Take that time to recover for that self care. Then look at your wins. How often do you actually stop and celebrate your wins instead of just looking at what you're missing or what you have to do or should have done? Stop that. Stop and focus on your wins. What did you do today that was positive that you're proud of and share them. Be around people that accept and love and enjoy and want to hear your wins and can share that happiness and those victories. Those are the people that matter. Surround yourself with those people. Be more compassionate to yourself, to your children, to others, and let's make this world a better place and continue to lead with integrity. I really hope you enjoyed that guys. And if you did, please remember to like follow and subscribe. And if you found it was helpful, please share it.
