2024. Happy New Year. I hope this year is absolutely incredible for you. And I am so excited for this year because looking back over the last decade, I've had a lot of challenges. It's really been a hard handful of years. Lots of loss, lots of illness, and a lot to overcome. But I decided to create the change I want to see in the world. And I'm going to surround myself with the people that facilitate, to be around, the people who lift me up, who support me, and who are aligned with what I want to do. However, the challenge for me is to not get wrapped up in that to do list, to always look at what I'm not getting done or what has to get done, but to focus on more being and less doing, which means being very focused on what I do and when I do it, and to create those boundaries for myself as I have with people, to be around the people that are positive and supportive and to compartmentalize my time, to focus on my key outcomes and the worker steps required to get there and otherwise to enjoy myself, to create more balance, to spend more time with myself, to do more things that really feed my soul. Because I've been neglecting that. And you can't neglect that because at the end of the day, what is it all for? So it's about more being. And when I'm doing, it's still being and understanding that everything I do is intentional and is in a line with my values and my intentions. And to be intentional with everything I do so that I get the most out of it. And I'm not just screwing around. I'm not dabbling, I'm not pounding the pooch. I am doing what I want to do, when I want to do it. And of course, all of this is always in parallel with. With being a better dad, because that's what it's all about, is creating a better future for my kids and to create a legacy for them and to guide them and to have fun with them. Because as time is going by, I'm just so shocked at how. How fast it goes by and how fast they've grown up and how much more independent they are with their jobs. And now the three of us are rarely together at the same time between their commitments, their social life, their. All the things they have on their plate as they are continuing to grow up into these amazing humans who are more autonomous and as I can see, already have the skills they need to survive in the wild. So happy New Year to you and I'd love for you to give deliberation into what it means to live each life or each day of your life and how you're going to do it. And don't wait for a new year to make any resolutions or identify changes. And statistically, you're not setting yourself up for success. It's really those micro changes every day. It's stacking. It's increasing your standards. It's not going to the gym every day. It's saying you'll be 1% better. You'll do that one extra pushup a day. You'll eat one less cookie or any other sort of fat pill. So enjoy this year. Enjoy those around you, and make sure you surround yourself with the people that matter. Those who feed your soul, feed your energy, and allow you to be who you are, who you want to be, and what you want to do. Have a great year.
