Spoken excerpt by Hinesh Chauhan discussing healthy emotional expression, critiquing alcohol-facilitated male bonding as a primary route to vulnerability, and advocating for healthier alternatives (e.g., walking in nature). He links suppressed negative emotions (guilt, shame) to physical illness via increased inflammation and reduced cognition/mobility, urging people to 'get it out'.

And so there's no one generally to turn to. And drinking, I find, you know, whether it's military and going into the mess and having beers and venting, which is from a management science side of things, is, is the most effective way to share best practices and lessons learned. But it's also the way most men start opening up. And I, I have friends that will not. We don't actually get into deep conversations until they've had a few Dr. And I always look back at that the next day thinking it's funny how we can't really have those deep emotional meaning meaningful conversations unless there's alcohol involved. And that shouldn't be the case. It should be let's do something healthy, let's go for a walk, half hour hour walk in the woods, in the forest, on a trail, kill two birds with one stone, get time in nature, share our challenges and even if there are no answers, there are no solutions. Just to be able to vent. Getting it out is, is healthy and needed. And what I learned later on about my, my illness and learning about metaphysical stuff, learning about emotions, learning about energy, which is, it's backed by science now so people think this is woo stuff, it's backed by science. The, the levels of the vibrational energy of lower emotions such as guilt and shame, which was a lot of what I was feeling, started to pile up and impact my body in terms of a significant amount of inflammation which, which decreased cognitive function and my mobility completely where I was on I was completely non functional. And so get it out, get it.
